Ally racials are better but when the top players faction change it creates a domino effect. It happened in Cata going into mop and again it happened in Mop going into Wod.

You guys all miss the point. Ally racials were buffed, Horde were nerfed. The top PvP players saw this and decided to go Alliance. What is the best race PvP wise for Alliance? Human. Not only that Human can be almost every class, so you get a shit ton of Human PvPers.

People arent going Alliance because they want to go Human, they are going because all of the PvPers are now Alliance. They only go Human because... its the best PvP race. Going Alliance started off as a bunch of people jumping on the bandwagon but its become a necessity for anyone trying to do any competitive PvP.

If some crazy reason Horde became the dominant faction again, people would jump ship once again. Its just the way it is.

The most annoying this is the casual players getting carried all of the sudden thinking they are superior when they were getting rolled for 10yrs.

Anyway, it all started with Holinka saying 'Its time for the Alliance!' then buffing Ally while also slightly nerfing Horde. I dont think he should be to blame though, nobody would have predicted Ally taking over by this much once the Youtube/Twitch community started moving to Alliance. Either way, Im not sure it can be fixed. PvP was fine, what Ally needed were some PvE buffs but... who cares. The game is fucked as far as PvP goes. If your Horde, plan on losing a whole fucking lot. If youre Ally enjoy sitting in your garrison while you watch porn waiting for the que and oh, missing the que and having to reque... Fun game.

I don't think they should remove racials at all. There should be some difference between what you choose as your race for lore purposes and RPG/game immersion stuff.

The problem is only one thing: the power of the EMFH free trinket all humans get. It's really thats simple.

CC is super powerful in this game so they either need to tone it down even more than they already have (honestly I barely noticed a difference) or just make sure EVERY player has a free baseline trinket.

i dont pvp on the rare chance that i do ( mop legendary quest line /shudder) i forget i even have that ability
I play human because (imo) they have the best stance and look the best with all gearsets
I tend to favor gnome casters but thats about it.

What I fear is that, even if Blizzard removes\tweaks EMFH, the situation is just too far gone. I feel that it's going to be very hard to balance things again.

Free Faction Change might help, given racials are removed\properly balanced, but I get the feeling that the only thing that is going to move people away from their current races is if they over-buff Horde Racials - and that's a shitty "fix" to the actual problem.

On another note, I'd love to see more racials like Goblin's personal Bank. They give actual racial flavor and utility without significant pve\pvp edge over other races.

They just either remove racials, or balance them in factions. With this I mean, if humans can have another cc removal, then a horde race sould have one, and the same with other racials. That or simply make racials some useless things in pvp, like the Gourmand and Bouncy from Pandaren.

The balance is so screwed because of racials, and this makes pvp worse than it should be in this expansion.

Wake up. You are bad. Get better. The real difference is in the really high ratings. Below? It really doesn't matter. At all.

You know what really doesn't matter? The huge majority of players in higher-rated brackets that got there from lag hacks, fly hacks, dossing, pilots, kickbots, and various other cheats and exploits, not because they're better PvP'ers. I've quit or been kicked from several teams that were pulling this kind of shit, because I wanted no part of it.

Those players don't matter at all. Because they're all hot air and bullshit.

I'd like to see the real stats or ratio on those 2.0k+ who earned totally clean ratings (never been on a team where one or more players cheated during a match) vs. the scumlords. I'd bet the clean players are a small minority of the higher ranks.

Don't worry, Blizzard is still searching for the reason for the huge drop in Horde pvp players and BG wins. I think racials are as obvious reason as a baseball bat to the face, but I'm probably wrong and they are probably right.

The lack of a good reason to do unrated BGs probably has made the problem much worse.

Why not just copy EMFH and make Will of the forsaken the equivalent so then there isnt a faction imbalance. Yes most will either roll undead or human but at least there wouldn't be a major incentive to roll one race/faction over the other.

No it will force them not to use a proc and on use dps trinket. I doubt any single trinket would be worth a 15% damage reduction

EMFH is op. Im saying it as a player who never played any horde toon up to 20. Humans should get something else. Im also against killing racials entirely.

No they can't since they have clearly forgotten EMFH used to actually be even stronger in the past. It's very strong and scales very well, but its nothing new. If anything you can't use op pve trinkets anymore and you only get the trinket proc for free opposed to an entire trinket slot.
