    What should I do?

    Current Setup:
    Intel i7-4770 @3.4Ghz
    16GB DDR3 RAM
    Thermaltake 875w PSU
    Windows 8.1 64-bit
    LG 24" 1920x1080 monitor
Gigabyte GTX 780 Ti 3GB OC

Is it worth upgrading my GPU if I want to stay at 1920x1080 with 60fps? I thinking about getting a 980 Ti, but only several games seem to require more than 3GB VRAM at maxed out settings.

The 780 TI is more than enough for 1080p gaming @60 FPS in most current and upcoming games. Sinking $600 into a 980 TI for 1080p gaming seems more than a bit overkill and a waste of money if you ask me.

Just stay with what you have, it's a nice and balanced setup and 1080p does not need anything more than 780Ti in a foreseeable future.

980Ti would be a grandiose waste.

A 980ti for 1080? No. That's pure unadulterated overkill. A single 960 handles most games at 60 FPS on ultra and the 970 finishes off right where the 960 leaves off for the latest AAA games.

A 980ti is for multi screen 1440 or even entry level 4K. It's just not necessary whatsoever.
