I fried up some tofu last night. Left the peanut oil In the pan overnight. Would it be ok to just use it again? It's not dirty at all.

i will never forgive you for this blizzard.
Best thing is when you fry chicken that you season well and then fry french fries in the same oil right after. Then the french fries kinda get the seasoned chicken taste.
Leaving it out overnight is gross but lol it's prob fine.
Procedure:
Take your used oil.
Run through a fine strainer.
Wait until it's room temp.
Funnel into a container.
*edit: Seal and store appropriately.
Then next time you want to fry something, proportion about 2/3rds of the old oil and the rest fresh oil.
Toss when it starts looking or tasting gross.
Edit 2: Vegetable oils are biodegradable, so just find a corner in your lawn or whatever.

Depends what was fried in it? I leave my deep fryer oil for months at a time and it never gives me issues in a tropical climate but it never sees meat.
