So, so far it's been this guy and the guy who jumped down and got killed by a gator. Which idiot takes the price?
Did he or the alligator guy reproduce? We might have a Darwin Award contender on our hands.
I read about that. I feel bad that the guy is dead and that his family is suffering, but at the same time, seriously? What the hell compelled you to put an explosive device on your head and set it off??
With people like this 1000 Ways to Die will be back on air in no time.
So according to the brother, who was standing right nearby, the explosion blew the guy up like...completely...there wasn't much left.
It says it was a mortar tube style firework...which confuses me... had it been in the tube then it should have launched and the only injury would be from taking the (significant ) recoil of the tube. It seems as though it went off right there on the ground which means this guy used a round from a mortar cannon and set it off on his head.......has he never seen war movies?? Does he not know that in war we use similar small rounds to effectively kill groups of people at a time?
I don't care how much you had to drink there was something wrong with this guy. His brother says 'he wasn't the kind of guy to do dangerous things like this, he was the kind of guy who would pretend to do it to make people laugh'. Really? 'Hey look guys, I'm an inch from committing suicide, isn't this just HILARIOUS!?!?' How much of an attention whore does one need to be?
Nah, this wasn't an accident. He knew it was dangerous, that's why he was putting it on his head and trying to light it, he wanted the attention. He got that attention when all his friends and family told him to stop it, then he went ahead and did it anyway.
When you know what you are doing, you have taken time to consider the outcome and still decide to go ahead with it, you cannot call it an accident anymore.
Well he is certainly up there for this year's Darwin Award.
I have no sympathy for people who do things like this
