So after browsing the internet for years I'm sure that all of us have been spoiled at one time or another. For those who don't know what spoilers are, they are basically things that people say or pictures/videos shown that reveal the plot of point of a video game/TV show/book/etc. Being spoiled usually involves reading something that is a spoiler before you know that it is a spoiler so you can't stop yourself reading it. Basically by the time you realize it's a spoiler it's too late.
Spoilers are usually met with disdain. Hell, MMO-Champion has spoiler tag rules and the black bars to allow people to talk about plot points without spoiling people. But my question is do spoilers actually bother you? I actually seek spoilers out in many cases. I am an anime only consumer in that I don't read manga, but often when I catch up on a series I'll visit the wiki to learn about the events that will be going down in the future. If anything it gets me more pumped for the show (Unless the future events are boring of course. It works both ways.)
I think for me I don't care about the events themselves but more how they unfold. You could tell me that Snape kills Dumbledore but that would just make me want to see the movie even more. Of course, I prefer to encounter spoilers on my own terms, so I can understand the frustration when you unintentionally get spoiled. So, what about you guys? How do you feel about spoilers?
