Frost Deathknight 2H vs 1H

There might be already a topic, but I didnt found one.

I have a question for a longer time now.
Dualwield is obviously much better, but at which iLVL upgrade is 2H better?

For example:

My 1H: Wild Combatant's Hacker (with socket)
Wild Combatant's Slicer

My 2H: Chakram-Breaker Greatsword

My guess is that the 2H is better since the 15 iLVL upgrade.. but im not sure.

You're best bet is to just test both DW Frost and 2h Frost with your gear and weapons, and see what comes out on top. The two rotations are completely different. While weapon DPS is your biggest priority, you still may find that DW Frost might do more damage with the weaker weapons. No way to really know though without testing it yourself.

It really doesn't matter. Remember its a video game and all that matters is what looks fabulous. Do you like the big long thick one hander or do you like the little double wield so you get one in the pink and one in the stink.

Frost 2h is so far behind currently that I wouldn't consider it at all. Maybe at 30+ ilvl on the weapon you mgiht start to see some light as 2h against dw but even there only ST for the msot part.

DW Frost pulls way ahead currently for two reasons:
-It received more significant buffs this past patch than 2h did
-2h's main ability (obliterate) Only scales with strength and vers (vers can only be obtained through RNG), while DW's main abilities (HB and FS) scale with those two as well as mastery which is extremely easy to stack

2H is dead at the moment. If your goal is the highest DPS performance then stick with DW. Even if your weapon ilvl is 15 more than your DW.

1h frost is pulling ahead in endgame atm, in terms of frost, 2h is weak

Not to butt in on this, but I've been wondering ever since hearing that "2H is dead", is that purely for competitive raiding? Or will I still notice a drastic increase in DPS if I switch to dual-wielding if I'm just wearing Baleful stuff? I like the look and playstyle of 2H but if 1H is really that much better I'd be curious to try it out.
