    BenQ XL2420Z

Does anyone know if the BenQ XL2420Z monitor has built-in speakers? I am trying to hook up my PS3 via HDMI to it, and while the picture works just fine, there seems to be no sound. In the monitor settings there seems to be audio settings and I confirmed that the volume is at 100 and it isn't muted, but it simply will not play sound. On my computer if I go to audio settings and perform a sound test for the monitor, I see the green bars move but no sound plays there either.

With that said, does this monitor have built-in speakers? And if not, why would they include audio settings for it?

None of the XL series have integrated speakers. What the audio setting means is there's a port on the back where you can connect your speaker or headphones to.

Is the XL2420G good for console gaming?
