Curious issue with Macro not working...

Would appreciate if someone can tell me why this ain't working:

/cast [mod:Shift] Outbreak; Plague Strike

The above Macro, I'm unable to use my hotkey [#1 - 9] while holding shift to cast off Outbreak, yet works perfectly fine when I click on it.

I got the exact same macro for Soup Reaper modified with shift, with Death Coil and that works perfectly fine when slotted in to the key E.

Why's this? >_<

also make sure you dont have stuff bound to Shift+whateveryourkeybind is
