So the safest way to be online is to not say anything online.
I hope this statement doesn't offend anyone I don't want to go to jail.

At this point I would just like to put in the Abridged Mr. Popo laugh when they zoom in on his face. That is pretty much all I can do at this point. I see now the glorious truth that the Joker is trying to tell us. It is all pointless, everything is just one big joke. So why aren't we laughing?
This is on the National Post site. I'd be wary of taking things at face value without more confirmation. They have made a farce of the actual news in the past, so it wouldn't be the first time they mislead or outright lied.
If everything is as the story goes (which it likely isn't, there's always two sides of the story afterall), this case is messed up beyond all belief. I'm all for women's rights, but feminism needs to end.
He and Guthrie, for instance, initially fell out over his refusal to endorse her plan to “sic the Internet” upon a young man in Northern Ontario who had invented a violent video game, where users could punch an image of a feminist video blogger named Anita Sarkeesian until the screen turned red.
Guthrie Tweeted at the time that she wanted the inventor’s “hatred on the Internet to impact his real-life experience” and Tweeted to prospective employers to warn them off the young man and even sent the local newspaper in his town a link to the story about the game.
Elliott disagreed with the tactic and Tweeted he thought the shaming “was every bit as vicious as the face-punch game”.
And she is not harassing some young boy as well? If anything she should be the one on trial not the other guy.
edit: shit are the cops coming for me now? crap

“A man will contend for a false faith stronger than he will a true one,” he observes. “The truth defends itself, but a falsehood must be defended by its adherents: first to prove it to themselves and secondly, that they may appear right in the estimation of their friends.”
-The Acts of Pilate.
Screw our legal system if the feminists win this BS case.
Sad, the guy lost his job when he has 4 children and didn't do anything wrong by the looks of it at least.
You have offended me.
he he.
Personally, I see this whole thing back-firing on these two female "activists" as now they are pretty much attempting a frivolous lawsuit. I wouldn't be surprised if the judge dismisses the case demanding they pay all costs.
Considering the lengths that the feminists went to attack the creator of the video game mentioned, I would say they were most certainly acting unreasonably and I could see the guy who made the video game having a possible civil suit of his own against them.
This reminds me of Stephen Fry's comments in another discussion:
“A man will contend for a false faith stronger than he will a true one,” he observes. “The truth defends itself, but a falsehood must be defended by its adherents: first to prove it to themselves and secondly, that they may appear right in the estimation of their friends.”
