    I really enjoy(ed) Timewalking but ...

... it's got to be more than a weekend.

There's really no chance that I am going to do more than one of those a day. I still just don't have "stuff to do" on one character while I'm waiting in queue.

I think Blizzard did a great job implementing the feature, but it has to be available more. I'd run timewalking instances regularly if they were available regularly.

I enjoyed some of the wrath time walking (Gundrak was harder than halls of lightning which was odd!).

I would have liked for us to have some new dungeons this expansion like we used to get. But hey doing the old ones again which ive not done in some time is ok as well.

    Timewalking seems pointless to me.

And believe me, if it was more than just a weekend, people would be tired of it by now. It would only tarnish the memory of those dungeons.

The memory of WotLK dungeons was tarnished, already in WotLK..

The only good dungeon in WotLK, was HoR; simply because it offered a challenge..
    Fact (because I say so): TBC > Cata > Legion > ShaLa > MoP > DF > BfA > WoD = WotLK

Lets keep it as a weekend thing only. It's not like it's more exciting than anything else the game has to offer at the moment. Ran the 5 dungeons required for the HFC Cache out of need for gear, not the need for Timewalking.

I wouldn't even consider it content.. Since well, its old content

I originally thought the weekend event would be too short, but after doing it I think it makes sense. If players could just burn it day after day it would barely be used fairly quickly. Frankly after doing 10 of them over the course of the weekend, I was pretty much over them already.

I enjoyed it... until I realised it wasn't all of the WotLK dungeons. Running the same few over and over on alts was getting a bit tedious.

I like that it's a weekend event, but forcing 5 of them on your main character for the Seal is a little obnoxious. I like them as an alt activity, but when I have to spend 3 hours doing them on my main every 2-3 weeks it kind of annoys me. Maybe if it was 2-3 instead of 5 it'd feel less annoying. The dungeons themselves are super quick and easy, but the queues are 30mins each...

Oh I remember gobs and gobs of people dying to purple mojo puddles, back in the day.

I 100% prefer it to be a weekend thing (I like bonus weekends idea very much tbh!).

It means they can make the reward powerful(ish).

    And it keeps stuff fresh!

I'm reasonably sure you are the person Blizzard designed the incentive system for.

Unfortunately, you're not anything like the person who would actually enjoy doing them.

In fact all you idiots who were "forced to run them on all my alts all weekend," Jesus Christ, what the fuck, seriously?

Another person who doesn't know how to enjoy a video game heard from.

Oh I am so sorry I don't fit into your "rose-tinted-lets enjoy the past" umbrella.

Wait a minute.... I am not...

Gutted I missed the WotLK event. Some people are busy at weekends!

Did you. . . did you not read their post at all?

They literally said they like them as an alt activity, but it's annoying to do with mains just for the "incentive system". That's exactly the opposite of a result that a company wants from their game design. Taking a fun feature and turning into an annoyance because of an out-of-place reward system.

I very much dislike it. If i wanted to revisit them I would go destroy them as lev100.

We had issues on the first boss believe it or not XD 2nd boss onwards were easy. The constrictor snakes were not dealt with fast enough.

Old kingdom aside the initial packs was really easy this time around. Not done that instance in a long time.

I fully understand that some people have full schedule of RL things on weekend. Maybe we can do win-win solution by nerfing the quest requirement for completion (3 runs instead of 5 sounds fair enough for me)

Get rid of the "mandatory" seal for sure. I don't know what the hell the point of that was.

Oh, wait, I do! It was to "force" the 10-20% of the population who are hardcore joyless tryhards who play WoW instead of kicking their dogs, to spam the new feature all weekend on all their alts, so it would be "popular" among people who actually hated it.

That of course also ensures that the new feature is filled with pissed-off assholes hostile to people who would otherwise actually enjoy it, thereby making sure that pretty much everyone has something to bitch about.

Yeah, Gundrak seemed a little... overtuned.

I tried to get in my five dungeons last night (I work all weekend so it's hard for me) and got stuck on the first boss in Gundrak, the snake guy. Two separate groups kept wiping and wiping on him. I left the second one, found I had deserter, and logged off for the night from frustration.

I don't remember having nearly this much trouble in Heroic Gundrak, but I also seem to remember doing some kind of LOS strat with that boss. However, neither of the groups wanted to cooperate with anything other than "nuke the boss harder" so that was just setting us up to fail right there.
