They just launched Alpha and the beta build people datamined as a thanksgiving gift. And also (especially) so that Wow is in the spotlight at a time when it's conveniently on sale. It's not hard to decipher.

Pretty easy really, Alpha all december then 6 months of beta like normal. I wouldn't count on this beta going short at all they more or less overhauled every spec in the game on top of all the system changes.

Except 6 months of beta is anything but normal. Average beta is still 4.5 months.

And are you are hoping for a trashcan like wod for legion? The only way to get them down on time is to cut cut cut and listen to no feedback and just push garbage live.

I want this as fast as possible but realistically they've just redone every class and added a new one that's not even half ready to be tested and trying to add lots of new features. If this gets pushed live faster than normal it won't go well. Wod is not something you want to compare with.

I want this as fast as possible but realistically they've just redone every class and added a new one that's not even half ready to be tested and trying to add lots of new features. If this gets pushed live faster than normal it won't go well.

WoD was just planned badly. In terms of amount of time that wouldn't of mattered. Even a long beta or even a delay can still be a bad game(Watch Dogs showed this).
