What was your favourite raid in WoD?

Mine was definetley BRF, i saw all bosses on mythic difficulty, except for some in HFC ofc but gonna see that aswell eventually. BRF was very much fun to me because it was actually the only raid that focuesed on the real villains here...the Iron Horde. It is honestly dissapointing that blizz was hyping up the Iron Horde so much but in the end we only got 1 real raid with it, since HFC is no longer iron horde at all... So bassically i wanna hear some opinions on this matter. What was YOUR favourite raid in WoD in terms of Boss design, difficulty, number of bosses and the actuall enviroment in which you were fighting.

For some reason I haven't enjoyed a raid as much as I have enjoyed HFC since ICC. I liked BRF sure, but the boss designs weren't all that enjoyable, particularly as melee (looking at you mythic Blackhand), there was rarely a fight in there I really enjoyed, granted I hated the guild I was with for most of it. HFC, I like most of the bosses, haven't seen too many on mythic yet but they've all been enjoyable except for a few. Mannoroth is such a great fight.

Without having done all of HFC yet I'll have to go with BRF, so many awesome encounters like Operator and H&F's lovely environmental hazards.

    So far:
    HFC > BRF > HM

As a tank, Highmaul, as a hunter, HFC

When I look back at it, I had the most fun during Highmaul

Having not seen all of the Mythic encounters in HFC I can't make a solid opinion, but aesthetically I am quite the fan of the Mountain Dew paradise. Though for now I think HM would be winning for me purely because of Mar'gok, I really enjoy the way the fight progresses and that cheeky twist for a final phase on Mythic made it feel even more special.

Definitely BRF.. Blackhand was the most fun fight ive ever done, both the Mythic and Heroic version.

I'd say BRF and HFC are equally awesome raids. Best encounter is Blackhand because I absolutely love how the transitions are made there.

What the fuck? Really bad final boss, no mechanics at all. Archimonde is much much more complete as a boss: more mechanics, much harder, more awareness require. Blackhand for me is the worst final boss in wow (or at least since Ulduar, were I started to raid heroic content) at the same level as Madness of Deathwing.

As my guild haven't started mythic HFC yet, I'd say that BRF takes the cake simply because of Mythic Thogar, that fight as so much fun. On the other hand, Blast Furnace really pulls the score back to HFCs favor.

highmaul, because there are almost no orcs

Only 3 raids to choose from, but still hard to tell. I liked being outdoor most of the time in Highmaul and it had some good boss fights, never liked the long Imp fight though. I don't like the aesthetics in BRF but the place has some really good boss fights like Thogar. Didn't finish HFC but from what I've seen I like the darker aesthetics more than previous raids, and most bosses have some good story behind them.

So far I'll say BRF but it might change when I've ran all of HFC a couple more times.

    HFC>HM>BRF

I personally was not a fan of BRF. Some of the least memorable bosses I've done in a raid. Blackhand mythic was a failed encounter considering how the siege engines were dealt with (ie. rogues tanking it up the wall w/ feint spam and tanks tanking it up the wall). It's clear that Blizzard had a greater vision with Blackhand, but the encounter fell short. It was a hard fight, but it wasn't super fun or well made. Thogar was a really good boss though. Semi-hard fight and super fun. If they tuned him slightly harder, he could've been hell of a boss.

HM I liked the environment. The story being told as you infiltrate Highmaul and simultaneously with your infiltration, Cho'gall unleashes hell on Highmaul by sending shadow bolts down upon the city and unleashing his Pale orcs who summoned Tectus. Also Margok mythic was sick. Although there was a lot of drama with Cho'gall exclusively appearing on mythic only, it made for a epic fight.

HFC is aesthetically more pleasing than BRF. Better encounter designs. More diversity and holy crap - Mannoroth is one of the sickest looking fights made in a long time(Visually).

Highmaul without a doubt, it was the sole raid me and my guild went into during the early days of WoD and it's what built us up as a guild. While many hated it for it's gear optimization, I enjoyed it because I did it so many times with the guild.

Beyond? Nah, BrF dealt with Orcs and HFC deals with orcs and I was sick of orcs.
