Laziest PvE spec?

I occasionally PvE for social reasons, but I'm not really into it. For this purpose, I'd like to know what the laziest PvE spec is.

What spec suffers the least when played sloppy? So not lining up cooldowns, messing up rotations, etc. Also, bonus points if the spec is easy/good against trash (I can stand to pay a bit more attention with bosses).

BM for sure. Like 80 percent of your DPS is pets when you are geared through HFC.

People always say stuff like this as if you don't manage kill command and focus fire (and steady focus in aoe) and the pet just magically does all the dps.

Doesn't mean that BM isn't pretty braindead, though, my WeakAura makes 90% of the Focus Fire decision-making for you, rest is juggling focus.

What focus fire decision making? You press that button once the blizzard ui thing lights up... or you dont press it just before you use Beastial Wrath.
As if MM is any harder to play nowadays. Main Ability.. Focus Spender. Its all the same just with different descriptions.

Maybe frostmage? From what i remember you hit icelance and frostfire when they light up.

Dual wield frost DKS had a simple versions of the rotation in MoP where you spam 3 buttons and performed quite well

Can ret still be played at 80% with a cast sequence macro?

Also maybe you will achieve rank because almost no one use it.If you are super lazy use Lone wolf.

Play what you want to play. BM is gona be boring after the 80th raid and MM will be too. I haven't had "fun" playing a spec since SoO when i could mess around for a year in SoO.

He's claiming the specs are easy, when he's coming from a mindset that is totally wrong about both specs. Marks is a lot more than just main ability and spender, and BM is a lot more than just hit shiny buttons.

I'm not claiming the specs are hard, but playing the spec incorrectly and then calling it easy is not exactly a valuable testimony.

I honestly think survival is the easiest spec to play as far as hunters go.

Get a weakaura to track serpent sting.
Use Explosive shot/Black Arrow on CD.
Multi shot/barrage for aoe.

And run Lone Wolf.

As far as how much damage you will be doing it wont be outstanding but from the sounds of it you aren't really looking for that.

Yes CLC Ret still works like a charm. I have zero idea what I'm doing on my retadin but I still manage to stay competitive.

I'd say BM is up there, but, I'd think Frost Mage and Combat Rogue.

Probs any hunter spec. Just be careful where you point your barrage.
