    Warrior Class Halls

So I see all these awesome locations come by for Paladin's, Warlocks and Hunters. Yeah, they sure got their spots in lore.

Where does that leave us? Some pub in a Steamwheadle city, brawler's club or that Warrior island off the coast of Barrens where we used to do those quests in Vanilla/TBC/WOTLK?

I'm thinking a revamped Fray Island. Its the only real neutral Warrior place I can think of.

I was just thinking the same thing, a gathering of brutes beating each other across the head whilst drinking mead.

I was thinking Dire Maul would be amusing, or somewhere in STV with the Blood Drinkers. Something to do with Berserkers (RIP Zerker stance)

Fray Island also seems very suitable

A fighting pit would seem to fit.

Cant help thinking I'd love something more honourable if you know what I mean.

I'd love to see a return to Fray Island - such a great throwback to the original warrior weapon quest at level 40.

Alternatively I think Stromgarde would make a pretty badass Class Hall for warriors too. Kinda fitting since warriors are still considered the most basic and primal of all the classes and that place in particular is the spot where the human clans were first united.

Better not share it with alliance...

Pretty sure everyone shares with everyone.

It's kinda like being members of the Freemasons while your countries of origin are at war.

Better be able to kill them then. Tired of this forced alliance bullshit.

Yeah, Class Halls are pretty stupid.

The Alliance and Horde are still at War!

Warriors on both sides fighting, bloodied and battered. A horn sounds signalling the retreat, and a weary Human Warrior turns his opponent, the frothing Orc Berserker, spits blood and says... "Hey, wanna go back to the hall and get a beer?"

I just hope I can go to a class hall and get the abilities that were ripped out my soul during WoD beta :^)

I think much more the WW1 Christmas in the trenches story.

Also given how it sounds like the class hall will be an instanced area where you are appointed leader - probably for returning the artifact weapon to the order - you then get your little follower Lts to just do stuff with kinda like the bodyguard followers.

Which sounds kinda fun to me. I mean sure it doesn't make as much sense as I'd like but it's still cool to think about cleaving crap down with Saurfang while on my alliance warrior.

Grim guzzler. I don't know why but that was my first thought.

Except the soldiers in the trenches didn't go hang out with each other after every battle. It was an undeclared ceasefire, little different.

Returning the weapon to the order? The order that was just made up? How does that work exactly? I go brain Grom in the back of the head, grab Gorehowl and say "I GOT IT GUYS!"

Then joe schmoe's alt comes in and says "AMG ME TOO!" Then we fight over who is in charge until we log off and that guy who never shows up for raid on time pulls his out and says "I got next!".

What if warriors got Utgarde Keep. Repurpose those ancient empty halls into a training center and mead hall.

It's just nonsensical, no matter which way you look at it.

First off, they should be faction specific. Getting away with a shared capitol city hub is enough, it at least makes a bit of sense when you have the Kirin Tor or whoever sitting around enforcing you play nice while hunting down the "real" enemy.

The whole "PC is the leader" shit is getting old though. It didn't work worth a damn in WoD and it doesn't work now. All it does is hurt the story, deemphasize the characters, and make us feel stupid every time we get a quest to collect bear asses, put out a fire, find a lost teddy bear or pick up poop for the 14th time.

Why can't Saurfang be the leader of the class hall? Why can't Thrall, Jaina, Alleria, Turalyon, Tirion, etc? We can be their lieutenants, still arbitrarily important, but not to the point where it's kind of ridiculous that we aren't simply sending our minions out on raid every week to net us free epics. Oh wait, we've already done that. Funny how they managed to kill the bosses before some of our own characters did!

At least as lieutenants (call them champions, whatever), we are important enough to be honored but not so important we don't get our hands dirty, and it makes room for more than one of us to walk into the Class Hall at the same time.

I feel like neutrality can work, most of the big name npc's are pragmatic enough to put aside the faction war when shit gets really bad. I agree completely with the PC is the leader being played out, I would much rather be helping Saurfang or someone lead the worlds warriors to victory.

Something a lot of people seem to be forgetting is that we're literally on the edge of annihilation.
What's wrong about Alliance/Horde actually teaming up for the greater good? Settle the petty differences after you've stopped the Legion from destroying the world.
A lot of heroes are going to fall at the Broken Shores, leaving us to pick up the pieces and carry on the fight. If that's not reason enough to set aside things and kill a lot of demons, well, I'm not sure what is.
