That green fire quest was the most rewarding thing I did in MoP. It frustrated the hell out of me but now I get to strut around with my special "of the Black Harvest" title that's no longer available and the green fire just looks amazing. I'd love to have an optional questline of that difficulty to make my weapon look cooler.

And as someone who likely won't get it, I'd be fine with that. As it stands I'm gonna get a kickass weapon that's been the apple of my eye since I first made my paladin, and a handful of sweet skins for it depending on what I chase after. I'd be groovy with the top-tier players getting a unique skin that says "I play Dark Souls on patch day."
Be seeing you guys on Bloodsail Buccaneers NA!

They said the Demon Hunter artifacts were in the character creation screen images. (basic I think) (fire that looks like a'lar) (vague black thing that's hard to tell what it is with that angle) (grey and red possible demon skull variant) and (fel enchanted version of the basic blade)

not really. they are already planning the next expansion after legion. they don't want to waste time on patches, they rather make you pay 50$ for a new expansion.

Yes that one looks amazing I can't wait to see its color variants. Going to be a bit disappointed if its the PvP skin. I might have to jump into a few unrated battlegrounds just to get it

It's like it gets worse with every expansion. I have 2 ideas that I'd like to put out there though. Hopefully I can get a beta invite so I can post this on the feedback threads.

First Idea: Too much RNG. Give us a way to reduce it with effort. Professions come in.
Basically, we can get a % chance that varies with whatever the determined CD is for this upgrade in order to get Tertiary stats. 100% for 7 days, 10% for a day, etc. Make the cost based on that same range too. Lots of tidbits. Let Leatherworkers use this CD on their leather, Blacksmiths on their armor/weapons, to make it WF/etc. Maybe reserve sockets for JC only? Let everyone just roll it again. If long CD, buff other tertiaries so getting Leech doesn't feel so 'meh'.

Second Idea: Too anti-altoholic. People like alts. Use their own words. Make the 'main' play for the alt.
Basically, we get a weekly quest or something on a main character than gets BoA Relics for the weapon and can send them to w/e they want. Once per account per server so people aren't crazy stacking them into 1 character. Just a way to make it modestly less painful to play alts.
Back in the days there were few people that used to have more than one character, personally I like that. Have 1000 alts it's frustrating and boring, I have 11 now just because I wanted to try all classes, but I log in only in the main character or in the garrisons. You should not design a system around alts, your choice if you want to play more than one character or not, none force you to do that.

I think they showed when they talked about pvp rewards a purple/black version so i assume that would be the pvp version

which creates another power gap in itself, which is stupid. player 1 has talent lvl 3 while this guys has lvl 1.

If there's no pvp gear, you'll still have to do pve to get any gear though? Not sure how it could work otherwise.

I don't know how they think having no pvp gear at all is going to keep people playing pvp, pvp without rewards is just plain boring.

Im thinking there will still be gear but like five or 10 levels below raid gear so it will still be good but not as good

Unless its free gear that works only in PvP combat. You go up to the vendor get your kit, and que up. It might be functional to do entry level dungeons, but other than that its rubbish. They can scale down PvE gear for those who do both to the same ilvl. Or PvE players have to go and equip the free gear to enter battlegrounds.
Patience is a virtue. I never claimed to be virtuous.

There's no PvP gear but you can get gear via PvP, presumably at a lower ilevel than normal raiding, etc.

Instead you have the PvP talent trees, which are the new form of progression along with prestige, the talents are also what gives a long term PvP player advantage over a raider in better gear.

    But lets rework Warlocks again!
Ele and enh have received meaningful updates and changes much more often than rogues. Not that they don't need some serious work on all their specs though.

You get gear from doing PvP. It just isn't PvP gear because there is no distinction between the two. It is just 'gear'

I was incredibly disappointed on the announcement, but now I have switched to cautious optimism, emphasizing the cautious. I can't help but feel like the biggest addition they are talking about is character customization. And I'm having difficulty wrapping my head around the idea that there will be no weapon drops? At all?

"The team doesn't want it to be too painful if you want to change specs" so there MIGHT be a catch-up system? Oh god.

"Hey guys, I heard you love playing as this one spec, but now it's garbage for raiding, so you're gonna have to start all over with a new artifact LULZ"
Still wondering why I play this game.
I'm a Rogue and I also made a spreadsheet for the Order Hall that is updated for BfA.
