boomkins in 6.2

how are balance druids doing in 6.2. lvling mine up atm and i would like to play boomkin. what i mean is if they kinda suck i might as well roll healer on it. just dont wanna gear up for somethingh thats gonna suck

They're one of the most valuable DPS classes for most HFC boss fights, bordering on mandatory for a few mythic encounters.

Definitely really good with lots of gear. Strong dps if played the right way.

Every class has its own niche.. Boomkins will be on top with spread out AoE, like High Council and some mannoroth encounters. If played perfectly can be #1 on ST as well.

Mastery/crit is the best stats to go for right=)?

well hunter is Always gonna be my first love so wont change main. but lvling my bird have been a blast so prob gonna be my main alt. rotation feels realy fun with the solar bar going all the time =) keeps you engaged at all times.

and to me the reasone i love my hunter is not becuse i can cast while moving(even if its a nice perk) but becuse i love Archers tbh =)

Many fights such as Iron Reaver, Gorefiend, Xhul'horac and Mannoroth are incredible for Boomkins(granted you have hc class trinket).

There was a Boomkin last night pulling 100k on Xhul. So, they can be pretty good.

Nothing definitive. There's a claim that Artifacts will include customisation for all forms, but it's from a german interview and it isn't fully clear if that wasn't just a misunderstanding.
