And Police Escort this time. Meeting at Plantation Heritage Park and heading out from there with a BBQ at Markham Park Pavillion # 5.
it was different.... a Confederate Flag Rally. Not one KKK idiot, not one nasty vibe among a good 200 - 300 people, about 20% bikes, the rest proverbial "RedNeck " trucks - and a group of 30 or so "protesters" marching up, aggressive, hateful, loud, vulgar, egging the rally, getting in people's faces, screaming, chanting, spitting, spewing obscenities and non-sensical hate stuff, grabbing flags and wiping their asses with them, its as if they had lost their minds, were on some sort of mind-altering drugs .... tons of police, one of the "protesters", with bright purple underwear hanging out from saggy pants, pushed a female officer, little asian looking woman-held my breath, thought this would lead to major consequences- he/she put his/her hands on the officer and before anyone could even take a breath the female cop had him/her on the ground... BAM .... just brilliant... more provocation, a scuffle, cops interrupting .... police escorted ride to Markham Park...the hatemongers group followed - sort of like Westboro "Church" with different target, they didn't give up, they wanted a brawl, trying their darndest to incite a blow-out, but they were ignored to death, cops created a buffer zone... I was impressed ... I believe...wouldn't let anyone else come to the RENTED pavillion in the PUBLIC park, turned them away, saw the cameras, I went up and asked them directly for an explanation and they let them in... But they had the whole area blocked, never seen so many cops and cruisers at the park... I was impressed with the peaceful, "Ruly" behavior of the supposed "Racists" ( who werent'/aren't). the only hate and discrimination I saw and heard came from the protesting hoodlums. Amazing thing, that.

Yeah this sorta thing always ends up showing who the true bad guys are. Too bad it wasn't on any news station showing how bad those against it acted. May have shown that the majority that like and fly the flag don't do so for racism. But those against it do it to be racist.

There are good and bad people and racists on both the left and right. However the racists on the left have been getting louder in the past year, where as the right looks more mild recently compared to some of the raging SJW types.

The odds that a person is racist are greatly increased if he is waving a Confederate Flag.

The Confederate Flag is no different than the Nazi Flag. They are merely pieces of cloth, used by bigots to try and bring honor and acceptance to their cause. A flag is only as stupid and ignorant as the fool waving it.

i don't think the flag means that to people, it's standing defiant in the face of a challenge greater than yourself. it's the symbol of defiance really, no matter what you're being defiant against.
