    Would you visit us?

Lets pretend you're the ruler of some alien species and you've just happened upon Earth. It is now up to you to make a decision as to weather or not you want to make contact with humanity, destroy humanity, observe humanity or just ignore humanity. Why would you choose what you chose?

Well, if I'm traveling the galaxy or even the universe, then I'm clearly far more advanced than you puny humans. So right now, I'd be curious as to your capabilities and observe. And then later determine if you are a threat or potential ally. And if neither? Then you are the ants to my magnifying glass.

Pretty sure we'd have got bored of two-bit carbon "intelligent" life by the time we pass Earth.

What if they hadn't found a life form like us yet? We could be interesting. Or maybe our technology took an unexpected turn in its development.

For Earth? Well, if I destroy everyone and find a way to read animal minds, I would be a hero.
For Earth? Well, if I enslave everyone, I wouldn't be better than the beings I hold as slaves.
For Earth? Well, if I make contact to everyone and find a way to communicate, they would capture me or kill me most likely.
For Earth? Well, if I observe everyone from a distance, I wouldn't be better than half the beings on the blue planet, nor would I make progress in my world.
For Earth? Well, if I ignore everyone, I wouldn't be wasting time, I would be finding a different planet till the little people on the blue planet becomes more ripe for the taking, or more peaceful to communicate with.
FOMO: "Fear Of Missing Out", also commonly known as people with a mental issue of managing time and activities, many expecting others to fit into their schedule so they don't miss out on things to come. If FOMO becomes a problem for you, do seek help, it can be a very unhealthy lifestyle..

I meeeeeeeeeean, assuming I'm an alien, am I using the brain/thoughts/etc of what I have right now? Or am I just being a speciest and supposed to use raw stereotyping of Humans?

If the former, I'd observe, and probably eventually greet (unless I got a string of horrible ones and I'd fuck right off). If the latter, destroy most and abduct a few for science.
Still wondering why I play this game.
I'm a Rogue and I also made a spreadsheet for the Order Hall that is updated for BfA.

Well, on a planet with BILLIONS of life forms, we are the only ones who kill for fun. Would be a conundrum to solve.

I could base all of our entertainment needs around the idiots on this planet, covertly filming them with invisible, insect-sized holo-cameras and shit. Drama, comedy, documentaries, action... People would never know they're being filmed and mocked.

As leader of an alien species, I would do the Earth a favor and destroy humanity.

    You've clearly never kept a cat . . .
I don't know the recipe for success, but I know that the recipe for failure is trying to please everyone.

Probably observe at first, to get a better picture, then decide what to do after

Observe or ignore, the same i did with ants the first time i saw them. Watched for quite a few days the hives in my school, poked it time to time to see what would happen and then just ignored it as it has no relevant impact in my existence.

Observe. Then react... at this rate... I'm not feeling very merciful :P

Sure, I will uplift the earth and enlighten it and then the anal-probing will begin.
