Welcome to Canada as it stands right now. We take in so many non-canadians that we are changing our laws and beliefs. Its pretty sad state of affairs.

Or it could be that discussion of the European migration issue on this forum exposes the fact many Europeans have not absorbed the lessons of World War II and the Thirty Years War, among others.

See the problem is, when immigrants, particularily those who self-segregates, fail to integrate, they often fail to get proper jobs too.
Hence they will not be tax payers, but snitches on the social system.

I live in a place where a lot of immigrants have self-segregated.
The majority are Muslims and most (Yes, There are exceptions, do not hate on them, praise them for being good people, if we disregard the exceptions we start to walk a path that may end up in genocide) don't have a job, are criminal, or work illegally (I.E without paying taxes and dealing with stolen goods and such)

What we need is a solution to the un-integrable immigrants, and a way to sort them from the war refugees who just want a good life and are willing to accept their new country's norms.

I'd speak out against mass immigration, had I not been a descendant of Korean immigrants who swore fealty to the Russian Empire a century or so ago :P

Now we speak Russian, pray in Orthodox churches, worship Putin, drink vodka, dance with bears, hate gay people and invade Ukrainian lands like the next God-fearing purebred Russkie.

Just stem the immigration, get off your couches, stop relying on your Muslim slaves and over time they will be assimilated. Soon enough Somalis will be sailing o' the coast o' Sweden with Viking helmets on 'em.

I do not. Yet I have plenty of experience in a country that has difficulties with a large Muslim minority.

While I believe all religions are bad. You are still an example of a good immigrant.
One who settles down in a country, not try to change it to suit your needs.
Over where I live, you have Muslims actively speaking out against immigrants, Sharia gangs of second generation immigrants who hurt people who cannot quote the Quran and so on.

Not to mention the constant pressure on society to adapt to muslim norms.
Such as every event in schools mentioning the meat is Halal, or how some institutions have banned pork because it insults muslims.

It's that kind of stuff that makes short sighted people become far right extremist.
There is a problem, but killing or booting out every muslim is wrong.

Theres two bad sides to this issue. Those who blame all the muslims or insist all muslims must pay for the misdeeds of their "kind"
And those who insist theres no problem, all muslims are good, and anyone speaking against them are racist. (This is a particularily a trend I've seen with some swedes)

Instead we must realize there is a problem, and find a way to deal with it, without hurting the good muslims.

Not all refugees are muslims.
But good to know this mass stream of non-war refugees actually does not affect you, must be easy to be in support of it then.
