Questions about Starter Edition

Hello.

I am trying to convince someone to play this game with me. I want to know if multiplayer is allowed on the starter edition, so we can try the game together and see if we have fun playing together. I don't want us to try the game separately and end up thinking its not as fun. Neither of us have tried the game so far or have it installed, so there is no way for us to check if it is possible or not.

Limitations and Restrictions

Players on Starter Edition game licenses have the following restrictions:

• Cannot progress past the Skeleton King.
• Can only create up to 4 characters.
• Level 13 cap.
• Matchmaking available only with other Starter Edition players.

Safe to say that if matchmaking is available, then two guys with a starter edition can party up and go try it. You can find info like this from the Blizzard site and their threads with very simple searches.
