hmm, first i got an error message, then relaunched, got a que, then when i got in i got the error message again.

the que is to be expected though, the error is annoying.

Not the 1st time blizzard screw up a release. One could imagine they make these problems for the publicity and attention.

Aye it's kinda bad right now. I managed to open a few packs before disconnecting, even though some packs had cards unclickable for up to a minute.
Keep trying and you will get through. Failed the first 12 attempts for me too

"Blizzard under Activision has turned from a company that creates stories and experiences into a company that exploits the worst of the human condition by turning their games into virtual casinos. Hearthstone folows the same formula WoW and the Diablo series, by providing flashy, happy graphics and glittering interfaces interfaces (remind you of a Casino?) for the player to do the same actions over and over in hopes of a payoff (remind you of a Casino?).

In Diablo it's killing the same monsters in the same acts over and over in hopes of legendary. in WoW it's going to the raid casino every tuesday and in Hearthstone it's play games in order to buy decks to maybe get the right cards. The thing is that it is an empty, soul sucking, life wasting endeavor.... when you get all your best cards, legendaries or raid loot, what is there to do? What is the payoff?

They just start the hamster wheel again by introducing better cards/loots/legendaries. Love yourself as a human being and avoid anything made by Activision/Blizzard, they are not game makers, they make 21st century slot machines."

    yaaaa ok.

this game can be purely played without buying packs, so your point is moot.

I'm not surprised really as Hearthstone is pretty popular, but I must say it's pretty funny to see players raging on the official forums instead of doing something more productive, like go outside for a walk or do some chores they have most likely procrastinated on.

I have enough gold waiting for me for like 18 packs at home and enough credit on google play for another 7 packs, I just wanna go home and open them

Bought 36 packs with gold. Only one legendary, Wilfred Fizzlebang. I actually got almost every new Warlock card, only missing Dreadsteed. I also got something like nine Flash Heals.

Can't play any games though, waaaaaay too laggy.

Not gonna try and get in til later, cba to play with loads of dc/lag. I have 12k to spend if I want to, but will see how I go with the 50 packs first ^^

    Well, that's something.

Made it through opening 10 packs... The lag makes the process too annoying to deal with... Will try again on lunch break...

No legenderies, a couple of meh epics like dread steed... I'd love to brag...

Oh wow, that's quite a lot. Although Hearthstone usually is up rather high right? I don't frequent twitch outside of E3.

It's usually in the top 4, but I can't recall the last time it had more viewers than LoL + CS:GO + DOTA 2 combined.

I don't have to ever bring any money to the casino. Twice a month I get a mailer from my local casino offering free play rewards linked to my account. Usually in the amount of $15. I can take that and play Bingo, Slot Machines, Poker, or Whatever.

They also give me a $10 off their buffet so it only costs me $2.

The point is it brings me into the casino where I hopefully will spend money.

Same deal with this game. Grind out a week and still don't have what you want so you find yourself tossing money toward the game to get a few packs or an arena run is no different than running out of free play rewards and sticking another $5 in the slot machine.

    The casino comparison is apt.

And if you want to get all dodgy and point out that you can play Hearthstone 24/7 and you can't at the casino without money. Well that's fine, Hearthstone also is way less likely to pay out money when you win (unless you're playing on a professional level) so the casino simply can't afford to let you play 24/7 for free but it doesn't change the fact you can schedule casino visits so you never have to pay a dime.
