When is this going to end? Everything you say is racist, everything you do is sexist and everyone is a feminist all of a sudden. It wasn't always like this.

I get a chuckle out of how people got so up in arms about the creators changing the races of characters in movies like Fantastic Four and The Last Airbender, but it turns out that those movies would have been horseshit regardless of who was black, brown, or white.

Why is it politics to create a female Ghostbusters or Thor? It sounds like business.
I never heard anyone say "no, you can't remake Ghostbusters with a male cast, it has to be female!" In fact, for the longest time it was going to be remade with a male cast but they never could get their shit together.

Instead, they decided to make it with a female cast because they had the right actresses, they thought it would be a funny twist, and they thought it might even do better business.

Why do you have to go making it into a political thing? Seriously, why? Are you so threatened that you see everything as an attack on your identity or something?
As a white guy, I don't see any threat to my "culture" at all in this, and I'm someone who grew up loving Ghostbusters and Thor.

Second, I absolutely agree with you. It's pointless and doesn't help any "side" black people won't get "better" because a white dude suddenly becomes black.

Third, we're in a connected era, you can keep your racist discussion at the bar between two lager, that's no problem, but if you take it on the internet, be prepared, it's an open communication system, don't expect to say something and not cause reaction.
