I always kind of wondered this, do pandaren or furbolgs hibernate? I think I read somewhere that the design of the pandaren bed was made for comfortable hibernation, however giant pandas do not hibernate. Can anyone give me an answer?

Not sure about Furbolgs, but nowhere in the Mists questing experience (as to I recall) were the Pandaren said to hibernate.
At Blizzcon '11, when mentioning their thought process behind designing Pandaren housing, they said that they were inspired by bears hibernating to purposely make them round and cozy looking only to discover later that Pandas don't hibernate.
The reference to Pandas hibernating was probably a relic from that.
Since the realization Blizz kinda poked fun at themselves over it with one of the male pandaren /sillies:
"Gotta store up some fat for the winter! I don't hibernate or nothin', I just like havin' it around."
