Should i kill the fly?

So i had this fly buzzing around my room and infront of the computer screen all night, and now i finally caught it with my hand, and thought i'd release it outside, But i diden't think i hold it so tight by it seems i still managed to damage it's wings so now it can't fly.. But i still dosen't feel right to kill it

But what do you guys think? should i kill it or let it be?

Spiders, flies and Crane flies.. I kill as soon as I get my hands on them.. flys, not because I am really disgusted, but because they are just so damn annoying.

For some reason.. this year, we have a million of them flying around where I live in denmark.. you can't open a door or window for some fresh air, without getting 2+ them inside.
And I hate them..

I had a wasp come in my room today. Theres an apple tree outside my window and most wasps get drunk on the apples there, so I was certain this one was drunk, I even managed to suck it up in a bug catching I use to catch spiders with it was so out of it.
I debated for about half an hour if I should leave it to starve, shake the tube until its stunned then drop it out and step on it.. but in the end I simply opened the door and released it, and it buzzed off. I closed my window since it got cold and that was the end of it.
