Question how to maximize gold making

So I read about how to make the most of your garrison in terms of gold, I have one main char and an alt or I keep switching between them, on my main I have enchanters and leatherworking ( hunter )as small buildings, and on my alt I also have enchaters with blacksmithing ( paladin ), what I did so far is get the Inn and unlock the mines for both characters to produce more ore for the Paladin....... I don't know how to manage the resources , sell them right away? wait until they turn into something more valuable ?

completely depends on your servers economy and what you can create, we cannot answer that question.

It has a little bit of a surge at Expansion Launch in terms of profit but otherwise, what is the difference between 1 and 2?
Convenience, you can DE stuff as soon as you loot it, and soulbound loot.

I have enchanting buildings on all my characters to funnel crystals to my main. I keep 20 of each stack of enchants on my bank alt at all times and the demand for enchants is greater than the supply of cheap crystals on my AH. And for simplicity's sake. Even with only one "proper" profession building running on each character I can't get hold of enough Felblights or Savage Bloods to craft all the upgrade items I got materials for. So yeah, basically buying Draenic Dusts from the Trading Post and slowly turning them into crystals at this point.

If I had to get hold of twice as many Felblights every week (and sell twice as many upgrade items)... oh boy!

If you want to "maximize" your gold making, its less about the professions and more about your maximizing your garrison gold factory. The issue is that with definining maximizing, the more garrisons you have the more you make. With just 2 alts and with the professions mentioned, you're options are pretty limited and will heavily depend then on you needing to decide to have more alts max'd or if not then considering your priorities in regards to either using those professions for less gold or switching to more lucrative professions. That's not to say you cant make gold with your current set up but "maximizing it" it like maximizing a small cracker as a 5 course meal.

It very well could be a situation of their having done that in a previous expansion due to other benefits. That and being able to de stuff on the fly.
