The Danish government has published informational 'ads' in several lebanese newspapers - informing refugees of the changing conditions for would-be asylum seekers.
Inger Støjberg, the Danish minister of immigration, integration and housing, has explicitly said that the influx of migrants is too large to manage. The aim with this campaign is to 'diminish the flow of refugees crossing into Denmark.'

“The advertisements must contain sobering information about the halving of benefits and other constraints we are going to adopt,” Stojberg told the Danish broadcaster DR.

We did exactly the same to try and reduce Eastern European immigration to the UK.

I agree and dislike seeing such a use of tax-payer's money. It's obviously not gonna stop the migration, but do you think it can have an impact, at least somewhat?
