HotS motivational thread, what have you accomplished today?

Played some Team League with a guy I had on my friends list and we wrecked. The only game we didn't win was when the some in my team didn't go with boss on Cursed Hollow as I told them to when we managed to capture the opponent's boss camp, which in turn made a mid game turn into late game where the opponent started getting ridiculous damage output which we couldn't compete with. It was really, really fun still. This game gets so much better when you have decent players to group up with.

Played after a long week, got 3 dailies done in 3 games with seargent hammer (sc character daily/win 3 games/specialist daily) then leveled up malfurion to 5, getting to level 25 on the way!. Feels goood to have all talents unlocked! Also got around 3600 gold for the day

After my typical experience with placement matches (Rank 1 before the whole change, Rank 9 after placements done), I go on a tear and get back to Rank 1 in 6 games

Stuck on rank 18-19 this entire weekend on my own account.
On my gfs account, which I use as a smurf one, just got the placement matches done and ended up rank 10. (13-7 on matches)

Had a wonderfully successful game as Mighty Gust Falstad blowing the entire enemy team into the open arms of Rexxar, Arthas and Raynor.

Got Rexxar to 5, just need to do a couple more days of quests and I can buy the King of Knights, er Johanna!

Well I got Seargent hammer to level 5 and another 3 win daily mopped up for 1100 gold for the day. Now leveling Johanna - currently at level 4. Not ver fun to play - ofc, more refreshing than Seargent Hammer...

That said, Its taken me exactly 11 games to level a number of heroes to level 5, playing solo and mostly vs AI, no stimpack. (Hammer, Zeratul Tyrael, Malfurion being the examples I can recall) - and these heroes appear as most played this season - so I really don't play al that much :/

If you are getting some heroes to 5 just for the gold and hate playing them, dump them into Training and afk for xp. It's the most painless way.

Got matched with a team in solo rank that wasn't completely retarded. I think they were a 4-stack and I was the lone wolf but whatever, it's nice to be able to solo rank when nobody else is on.

Level 26 In about 1 week after level 25.

Tried Nova yesterday for the first time in a couple of games - soo yeah I was that noob. Kit is nice for hero killing, but requires more skill to pull off. (wave clear on the other hand is great lol)

I have almost 19K gold but I don't feel like buying the mounts now. Still have to buy Rexxar, but I'll wait till the appropriate daily comes while I focus on getting as many heroes I can to level 5 by playing them out.

Oh boy, had some amazing QM Gazlowe. Was getting an epic losing streak in HL and dropped from R1 to R5 before getting fed up with the whole affair. Went in to some QL for some carefree games. Choose Gazlowe for the funs, and ended up on haunted mines, a map which I had always traditionally avoided with him for the simple reason that zone control was not too terribly important, but man was it fun. Had a very enjoyable early game which transitioned to an unfair late game after getting grav bomb with double Xplodium charge. Stunlocked the entire 5-man for a full 5 seconds as nova hit them with a bombardment and they just...evaporated.

You can only queue with a maximum of one other person now unless you go for a full-on 5-man.

Is that game noob friendly? Been thinking about giving it a shot but have no experience in Mobas. Tried the beta and had fun with it but was too busy with work/school/son so could keep with it. Also I hear the horror stories of other Mobas agaisnt noobs /cringe.

Very noob friendly. It starts you off with a very easy set of tutorials with AI team mates and opponents. There are videos on youtube as well to help you learn. But the actual gameplay is pretty simple. It's "easy to learn, hard to master".
