Bully who punches blind kid gets rekt

    http://www.nydailynews.com/news/nati...icle-1.2372895

A California teenager is being hailed a hero after he rushed to the defense of a blind classmate and knocked a purported school bully to the ground.

Shocking video of the fight, recorded by a bystander, shows the teen tormenter repeatedly beating his blind peer on the head.

Another student quickly leaps in, stopping the pounding with a single punch.

The hit leaves the bully bleeding on the ground.

"You trying to jump a f------ blind kid, bro?" the teen says, hovering over him. "What the f--- is your problem?"

Footage of the fight surfaced Wednesday and took place at Huntington Beach High School in Southern California during lunch, district officials told the Daily News.

Friends of the bully pick him up from the floor as a crowd of youngsters gather around the trio.

The 30-second video has been viewed nearly 480,000 times on YouTube, where commenters cheered the rescuer and bashed the bully.

A teenager rushed to the defense of a blind classmate and knocked a purported school bully to the ground, video shows.

"This hero is what I imagine Captain America was like in high school!" one person wrote.

The clip ends with a warning from the blind student's savior.

"I swear to God, if you f--- with this kid again, I will f--- you up," he says.

The Huntington Beach Union High School District said officials are investigating and have begun interviewing students and witnesses.

“Huntington Beach High School firmly believes that all students are afforded an opportunity to learn in a safe and secure environment. Because of this, safety is the highest priority,” it said in a statement to the News. “Huntington Beach High School has a very strong anti-bullying code of conduct and will not condone this type of behavior from any student.”

This video has restored a small amount of my faith in humanity. I love seeing a bully get their up and commins

So, civil courage at a good point is great. But calling him a "Hero" is exaggerated. But that's sensationalist "journalism" for you.

This is what needs to happen to bullies. Also this popped into my head while watching the video.

worst part is, from my experience with situations like these, the guy who knocked the bully out might get into trouble with the school as well, for he used violence to stop violence.

In my opinion though he should have hit harder.

I've never seen someone pick on a blind dude, I don't think there's anything more cowardly. Maybe throwing a blind, wheelchaired person off their wheelchair

The guy in this video who dropped that bully on the ground is a million times more of a hero than any soldier who has been sent abroad to kill people. Yet those people get called "heroes" all the time.

In before the "hero" gets suspended for attacking another student

Who cares if the school punishes him, he did the right thing.

I guess it depends on what your definition of hero is. I'd say his actions are borderline heroic.

Schools are terrible at handling bullies. The few times I did something like that, standing up for a weaker kid, I got in just as much trouble as the bully. Never one shotted a guy though.

Let's all ride the Gish gallop.

Who cares? How about... him? Worst case he gets expelled, or it ends up in his record.

I dunno, can imagine the "good guy" if you call it that, being punished more.

Defense of Another is an affirmative defense to assault and battery charges.

Hope there's no expulsion involved for doing that.

Sticking up for the weak in times of oppression constitutes as heroism 100% of the time in my book.

On a side note, I don't know the whole story. This blind kid could be a complete asshole. Not enough information.

Prosecutor might argue that he could have stopped it by just dragging him off the blind guy

How so? It shows the bullyclearly hitting the blind student. Then it shows the guy taking action After the bully hits the blind kid. I would say thats pretty solid in the rescuers favor.

Admittedly, I'd been tempted to kick him in the face for good measure, since I think a bully of this caliber deserves a permanent reminder of their stupidity, but....I also think hitting when they are down is wrong. Quite the moral dilemma

Yea unfortunately. Although I doubt the bully will bully (at least this guy) again from this day on.

Let's just hope nobody charges anybody and that the bully doesn't have lasting damages. Otherwise, the savior will definitely be sued

It's a 50/50 court case in my eyes.
Isn't this coming from the same guy who believes in imprisoning/murdering people with different political opinions that yours?

get out of here with that shit.
