We can't say much. Look at the jackass in charge of our country. He has the ideals of Trump and economic skills of an infant.

I personally don't. I think he's intelligent in that he's an entertainer and he plays that troll card well. He comes off as very serious and has people eating out of his hands. He's definitely a very good entertainer.
same, I would go have a beer with him I find him amusing.
Kind of the rich kid frat house president that made good but never lost the frat boy mentality.

Well seeing as how people are so hell bent on trying to destroy and discredit Trump, he must be a big deal.

No one talks bad about a person for this long unless he is a big deal and a huge threat.

It's like bullying in school, when a popular kid outside of the school's established cliques come along, they relentlessly attack him/her until that person quits.

Nah, I just don't suffer fools particularly well.

Well let's see. Do I take Trump seriously? Nope, I think he is running for amusement, and I don't believe a word he says, though I strongly enjoy his bucking of the PC status quo. So that leaves...Clinton? LOL. Sanders? Social progressive, and I am more and more convinced social progressives are batshit insane. Sanders gets disqualified on that alone, even without getting into anything else. For that matter, every Democrat is beholden to the PC loony bin, so until we get a Democrat with balls and a functioning brain, I will never vote Democrat.

Carson? Nice guy, but probably in over his head. Also admire how he doesn't cave to the PC nutjobs like Democrats do. Bush? LOL. Rubio or Cruz? Possible, though I haven't researched any actual platform positions. Rand Paul? Doesn't stand a chance. Fiorina? Meh. Huckabee? Sorry, I don't want a theocratic government.

So yeah, the field looks bleak, just like it has the last several elections.

So you are going to vote for him because of his immigration plan he has no way to pay for and his violation of the 14th amendment with trying to get rid of birthright citizenship? So you aren't going to vote for him now?

Well it seems to be working in pretty much every other fucking developed country.

Believing that someone's faith disqualifies them from holding office is about as anti-American as you get.

I'm an American, and I'm not voting for Trump (unless it comes down to him and someone even more horrible). That said, while a lot of things he says are ridiculous, it is refreshing to see a candidate who isn't afraid to say what's on his mind for fear of losing party support. Most of the others spout lies just to get one party or the other on their side.

I think Joe Biden is pretty genuine as well and I think if he jumps in the race he would get a ton of support on the other side.
Have you looked at his tax plan? His tax plan is for him and his special interests. If Grover Norquist likes it, you know its bullshit. Especially when the Tax Foundation says it will cost $12 trillion over the next 10 years.

    Jesus fucking Christ.

Only in America is a complete lack of tact considered a virtue, apparently.

I take Trump more seriously than I do the MMO-champion General Off-Topic Forums community, but that is a low, low bar.

You're going to get a skewed opinion on these forums. I don't agree with Trump at all, as a conservative. However, his main draw isn't his opinions. His main draw his is the fact that he is an outsider and that people are tired of the corporate backed apologists. Trump says something stupid, people overreact and he basically says "Screw you, deal with it." That is his only real draw.

I don't see how 'outsider' is synonymous with 'demagogue'.

It isn't. That's why I never argued such a point.

Which renders the 'outsider' argument moot since it's entirely possible to be an outsider but not a complete twat in the vein of Donald Trump.
