I really can't stand the extremists on both the far left and the far right. My thing is, I'm not really Liberal and I'm not really conservative at all either. My thing is I believe in common sense and kindness. I hate being put into any political party (I identify as Libertarian Transhumanist) and frankly this forum is making me hate both (but I hate the MMO-C Extremist Conservatives more).

When I was younger, I was essentially a conservative. Now, I'm definitely neither. There are some points that I agree with on either side, and some that I hold up on my own that neither support.

Sad thing is , it wasn't always "split" in 2. There were Democrats and Republicans however most of the time they worked "together" for the people, not just the party line.

At some point during the 60-70's that changed.

I can't stand the partisan garbage on either side , sadly no party exists that fits my view and ideals, so I wait for a day when a true 3+ party member comes forth and ...well, I think I will cure cancer, the common cold and ebola before all that happens here.

Trump is neither liberal or conservative *if you look at his plans they mostly are a hybrid/Mix/shared views of both sides, which is why both parties hate him because he thinks like a business man, not a politician* (He is a looney toon who wants to destroy our country *if you listen to the brainwashing media controlled by both parties)
Bernie is not a Democrat/liberal, he is a self defined socialist which the democrats do not want to be labeled as (CAUSE EVIL NAME CAN'T HAS THAT!)

When I was growing up I was conservative. By my mid twenties I was a liberal. Now I use common sense and critical thinking and think both the right and left are nothing more than extremist being bought by the highest bidder and serve only to push their own self-serving agendas.

Your a liberal progressive, there I saved you some time. Im a conservative but only because there isnt any party than it more to the right. If there was a party farther right I would join that party.

Not sure why people think there's any remote resemblance of far left in the US. Seriously, if you claim you hate "the far left", you're just saying you hate The Green Party, cause that's the only far left party in the country. If you're interested in actual far left parties elsewhere, look at the EU. Democrats in the US are slightly left of center.

So you have to have a party to identify with and identify with one that you seem to say isn't far enough right with you? This kind of thinking is why our political system is in the state it's in. People think they have to be part of a faction, even if it doesn't suit them entirely.

You do know you can vote for whoever you want without labeling yourself as one or the other right? I mean how hard is it to vote for people with the best ideas and not vote for parties? Pretty much with the state of our political system the best you can do is vote for the guy/girl that will suck the least overall.

I'm very much the same, I see the Good, the Bad and Hypocrisy in both sides.

I get called Right Wing by Left wing people and Left wing by Right wing people. I prefer just to be called someone that has critical thinking and doesn't assign themselves to strict ideals of one side or the other.
