What do you like and dislike about your country?

The thread I made earlier about being from another country made me think about this... what are the things you love and the things you hate in your country?

The best thing about Finland where Im from is probably the education system, or social services in general. I'm quite satsified with those.
What I dislike is the people, most Finns can be quite cold, ignorant, and racist. That's one of the main reasons why I'd like to get out of here.

What are your views on your country?

Dislike: Retarded politicians who endorse multiculturalism and mass immigration of not needed people, completely ignoring the impact on the country by those policies.

Like: The winter, the culture(Except it can be a bit too conformistic in some aspects) and many other things that are too many to list.

I like a lot of things about my country from the diversity of regions to the many freedoms we have.

What I don't like are the fact that a good percentage of people in this country try to impose their ideologies and definitions on the rest of us. The fact that the majority of people here don't want to face the real problems here also annoys me. Since I have never lived in another country, which I plan to do in the next few years I can't really determine how the good outweighs the bad or if I would be happier else where.

Its a beautiful country, with very varied landscapes and sights despite its small size
but it's being run by a megalomaniac idiot who wants to be Putin, and weirdly the people respond positively to him, and think hes saving the country by spending billions on football stadiums(even though we suck at it) and propaganda billboards

Like(s): The vast open spaces, the true scale of this country. It's rugged pioneer history, its wild and diverse stories and many unique cultures. It is a land of true majesty unlike many others in scope, richness and is a place of relative peace and tranquility.

Dislike(s): I fear its future is in jeopardy. The constitution is cracking as the faulty mechanics of checks and balances becomes apparent, divided electoral mandates, general political corruption and a over all decline in national spirit and will makes me fear for its over all future.

I would't call an invasion an origin story. The part occupied by the Nazis was Polish before the Nazis and remained Polish after the Nazis. Though with much lower population.
