Do you really need new Apple products?

Can't sleep, so I thought, "why not start a thread?"

Let's say, you have an Iphone 6 - are you one of those people that will stand in a queue for 24 hours in order to get the Iphone 6s? My friend a week ago gave me apple watch for free, because he thought ,"it might be useful" but then he got bored of it. My questiom to you is, have you ever bought something expensive - later regretting it?

Still have the only iPad I've ever had 4th gen. No reason to get anything else till this one bites the dust. Brand loyalist lose out anyway.

Haven't bought an apple product since the original 64g huge ipod.

In general though, no. I have a Galaxy S3 still.. It's been dropped in water, frozen to a solid cube (moist and -25c not a great combo), and dropped on everything from asphalt to tiles to concrete more time than I can count (like multiple times a week for 4 years). Screen doesn't have a single scratch (hard plastic, not easily breakable glass), battery life still pretty good, everything still works. Supports all apps that I've wanted.

It's starting to run slightly slow, but I won't replace it until it stops working. The only benefit of upgrading for me atm would be a better camera, and I'm not paying $1000 for the newest model just for more pixels.

Yea I will probably upgrade my iPhone when it's up to be upgraded. It's free, get a free update every year. What que? I go up to bestbuy and buy mine, I've never had to wait more than five minutes.

If you update you current IPhone/IPad too far it will slow down and the battery life will diminish.

And that's intentional.

Apple intentionally ruins its older devices through the coding in each newer version of iOS.

They want you to think your device has just reached the end of its life so you'll go out and buy a new one.

This isn't a conspiracy theory, its documented fact.
