Same here. Of Irish and German descent, family migrated here to the USA between 1850 and 1912 and moved west before settling in Utah (yes, my dad's side of the family is mostly Mormon).

I was born in Denmark, my mother is Danish, I only speak Danish and have lived here for almost (2 years in Norway) all of my life.
My dad is Turkish, moved here in the 80s when the economy was booming, he was a so-called 'guest worker'.
Due to spending most of my free time playing vidyas, my complexion doesn't stand out, but every summer, after a few hours in the sun, my skin turns super dark for a Scandinavian.
