    Corsair 450D Fan Setup

    Hi all,

with the help of some of you guys I was able to build a great setup last year which includes:

    See thread here

    i5 4670k
    ASUS z87 A
    8 GB ddr3 1600mhz GEIL Leggara
    ASUS Gtx 660 TI
    256GB Samsung 850 evo SSD
    1,5 TB Western Digital HDD
    550W Power supply

Now I want to be able to overclock the CPU (as I have the "k" version it would be a waste not to try) and want to deploy the hyper 212 evo cooler to my CPU. I will need a new case anyways and have decided to get the Corsair Obisidian 450D with window.

My question now is: Do I need additional fans in order to overclock and not produce too much heat inside the case?

    The case comes with
    2x 140mm front fans
    1x 120mm back fan

It is possible to add additonal 2x 140mm OR 3x 120mm on top. Should I replace the 3 basic fans? Should I get additonal fans for the top?

I live in Germany, which means it does not get hotter than 38-40 degrees in the summer. Please also note that I consider upgrading to a better GPU and another 8GB Ram (to have 16GB) soon, but not in the next couple of month. I do not know if this would change any setup, but maybe it is important. No plans for SLI Mode!

    Thanks again for your help!

    Best regards
