Need help with a build for grandparents.

The budget is $800, i don't need a OS or any peripherals like mouse, keyboard, etc.. They don't need it for high end games, mainly will be used for multitasking, internet surfing, mild demanding games, playing movies/music.

Is a SSD necessary or better then just a normal HD? Also since these parts are from different places would i have to pay separate shipping costs ?

Ssd its not a absolutely must have, but nice to have especially on a new build. If you don't need large storage its pref. otherwise grab a WD caviar blue. Shipping costs should be included in prices as the link says.

Explain mild demanding games? Are we talking internet games, or indie games from steam?

Because I have the feeling you could be done for 500 dollars, possibly even less.

Yes could be the case Zeara, but you know when someone asks pc for grandparents and mentions "gaming", most times it means he/she is the one doing it when going there

Could be yeah, but to then use the whole 800 dollar budget... Assuming it is money from the grand parents... I know how grand parents can be

But still, a simple machine with an i3 + 950 should suffice.

I should probably mention that am in Canada....It seems like this goes over $800 because Canada dollar sucks atm. I'll run this by the grandparents tho.

Yes the Canada part had to be metioned
If you feel gtx960 is too much for what they need you can get a gtx950 in there.
