Remember the zone removed from the map from GamesCom ?

Remember about this zone that was removed from the map between the Gamescom announcement and the release of the Legion website ?

Well, now we just learnt at BlizzCon that their will be 4 leveling zones and 1 level 110 zone, while the last zone is "in developpment, just like Tanaan Jungle".

So, who was right about this region removed from the game even before the annoucement ?

    AFAIK it's the pre-expac event..

The Broken Shore is the pre-expac event, not Thal'Dranath.

As a note on Tanaan though, the issue with Tanaan is that it was set to be the level cap zone and it wasn't released until 6.2. At least we actually have a level cap zone on launch this time.

Seriously if it's not going to be available on launch , why the hell did they showed it to us?
Unlike tanaan they could just removed it from map , it's an island.

Are you stupid ? Thal'Dranath will not be here at launch, so the website was up-to-date while the Gamescom was not.

Ever heard of Silithus, Quel'Danas or Isle of Thunder? Not every zone has to be released at the same time. Just because they decided to display the zone in the map doesn't change anything.
Tanaan was something different. That was supposed to be playable at release and Farahlon was to be the Silithus/Quel'Danas/Isle of Thunder/Thal'Dranath of WoD.

They should just not have shown it and people wouldn't be whining about nothing.

    Suramar is the 110 zone.

So I'm ready for that to be the new Tanaan, postponed until 7.2 or 7.3 or something.

And Thal'Dranath just scrapped like Farahlon.

I don't know about what'll happen to Thal'Dranath, whether it will be at launch or not, but the big distinction between Suramar and Tanaan is that they've showed us the map and several pictures of Suramar while we saw nothing of Tanaan when they announced WoD. There doens't seem to be anything that indicates that Suramar won't make it to launch.

Wouldn't say postponed. Blizzard never claimed that it would be anything other than a patch zone.

Nobody, since it wasn't removed. Also, your title is misleading. It was added to the map, not removed.

They added an island to the south of Dalaran.

I understand why people are being negative but Suramar is where the second half of the first tier takes place. They can't not give it to us. Additionally Thal'Dranath is currently in Farahlon state but, there is no Tanaan to take precedence over it.

Yep it's the last map to date. OP just want to rage a little.

    Does no one read anymore?

From the recap of the panel they posted on the official site:

And like Sorrowseer pointed out, this is the map they showed at the panel. So it's not like they're being all hush-hush and super secretive about it.

Easy way to make a content patch, just remove some stuff before launch after hyping it.

I was about to say, didn't the devs mention in an interview that they couldn't get some info on the Legion teaser site up-to-speed before they had to go do the presentation? Demon Hunterls equip list was also out of date, so.
Be seeing you guys on Bloodsail Buccaneers NA!

I can clarify this for everyone and hopefully /thread.

    -Gamescom: Thal'Dranath shown on Map
-Post-Gamescom: Thal'Dranath missing from map on website because of use of outdated map (Outdated map still being used as we speak)
-Blizzcon: Thal'Dranath clearly shown on map, and explained to be a 7.x late game content.

Not sure where the OP is going to trying to go, but nothing was pulled or removed. If anything, map stuff was added (below Dalaran). Basically they are both wrong and providing false info.
