It is too. He's not lying.
What the fuck Wales? Can't you speak American like everyone else?
By learning to speak Welsh.
While you're at it, go learn German. Your compound word-fu would be tremendous.
It's actually the sound a sheep makes when shagged by a Welshman
This is common knowledge I thought?
In Finland we have "Äteritsiputeritsipuolilautatsijänkä". Have fun!
On MMO-C we learn that Anti-Fascism is locking arms with corporations, the State Department and agreeing with the CIA, But opposing the CIA and corporate America, and thinking Jews have a right to buy land and can expect tenants to pay rent THAT is ultra-Fash Nazism. Bellingcat is an MI6/CIA cut out. Clyburn Truther.
Various Gaelic languages are fun. I know a little Scottish Gaelic. Even beyond the odd (to English speakers) spelling regimes, there's sounds in Gaelic languages that simply don't exist in most European languages.
It's a bit of a mouthful even for Welsh speakers but knowing the language makes it a lot easier to be honest. I can just about say it and haven't really spoken much Welsh since high school, but my grandparents could reel it off as a party trick as they were native Welsh speakers.
Google says the longest in the US:
The longest place name in the United States, Lake Chargoggagoggmanchauggagoggchaubunagungamaugg, has been spelt incorrectly for years, local officials have discovered. The lake in Webster, Massachusetts - known as Webster Lake for short - was always going to be a challenge for sign writers.
Not sure what the Native American translation is.

-- Capt. Copeland
The song is pretty catching. Plus you get get it off iTunes. It's titled "How to Say Llanfair".
That said:
Been there myself. Nice place to visit in the Summer and Autumn (Reminder: I live in Boston). The locals call it Webster Lake. Its original translation is being looked into but it is Native American. Problem is it's not quite clear which tribe originally named it.
...Ok, time to change the ol' Sig ^_^

The Welsh word for 'carrot' is 'moron'.
The Welsh word 'defaid' has nothing to do with in-ear devices that assist the hard of hearing, it means 'lover/mistress'.
The word Welsh means 'foreigner' in Anglo-Saxon (this may not be true).
The Welsh are notoriously racist toward vowels and avoid them wherever possible.
Everyone says Llanfair.P.G. (pronounced chlanfairepeegee)
Or even just . . . you know . . . not have more than 3 consonants in a row . . .

If I remember right, it means, "I fish on my side, you fish on your side, and no one fishes in the middle." Take that with a grain of salt, I don't remember where I heard that.
