I'd read a book and wait for the incredibly fun reads the next day.
I'd imagine it would be pretty catastrophic. A lot of our modern world is very reliant on the internet and being able to send/receive data at a moments notice. I wouldn't be able to give details but I imagine hospitals would be in pretty bad shape.
It'd be like the before time, the early 90s, when you read books in paper format, played all games offline so you actually knew the people who claimed to have banged your Mom
Anything that could make the entire net collapse would fuck us all up to an absurd degree. Think global nuclear war, everything goes to hell.
When work feels overwhelming, remember that you're going to die.

i will never forgive you for this blizzard.
Some companies would lose some money, but by and large, the world would keep spinning.
'Twas a cutlass swipe or an ounce of lead
Or a yawing hole in a battered head
And the scuppers clogged with rotting red
And there they lay I damn me eyes
All lookouts clapped on Paradise
All souls bound just contrarywise, yo ho ho and a bottle of rum!
maybe cry in a corner.

We find the person responsible and PUT. THEM. DOWN.
Also my 4000th post, yay.
Considering FFXIV is currently under a 24h maintenance.
I'm experiencing it already.
On topic, whilst I actually was on topic with my two lines above.
If someone manage to completely ruin the net for a day, then anything associated with the net will be abruptly turn asunder and then take the time to repair the damages.
As said by someone, (some) companies will go bankrupt, we won't get our information. Duplication error for online purchase and whatnot.
But relatively speaking, from a personal standpoint of when (or if) the net collapsed and only that, as it would come back within the day, then all my activities related to the net would be ruined for the day. Of course I'd be bored as I no longer could access anything related to fun without going outside. But it is at that point it would be really great to take a long walk, perhaps hours even!
Maybe climb a small mountain, warm some water and drink some hot cocoa while feeling the winter breeze.
Card games maybe, and of course, my lovely newspaper with Sudoku to solve.
that's what phones are for...they are called telephones. also fax machines, non smart cellphones.

A phone won't tell you who should get an organ when. It can't be used to look up patient history, blood types, etc. You can sometimes get someone on the other end of a telephone to look up those files, but that takes a lot more time, when every second counts. Today's systems aren't designed around having someone on the phone 100% of the time whose sole job it is to run through these sorts of files.
