I don't even play a shaman but wow. What a terrible preview. Let me sum it up for you. You got a new resource....gratz! LOL

I'm hoping too, but right now my finger is hovering over the re-roll button and considering dropping the class I've played for 4 xpacs
I don't know what you expect, any changes other classes are getting are to give them more individuality among the other classes, shamans need none of that because they already have it.
I won't argue they still need a looking at but it's a preview of a few skills from each tree and a single talent.
There are a shit ton of new talents and they showed one. You don't think there's more to come op? I mean, do you HONESTLY thihnk that the spells and abilities listed in that preview are the only ones the classes get? I mean, seriously?
Shaman's weren't in desperate need of a revamp imo. They just needed a quality of life adjustment to their dps and healing. Totems were clunky and they're trying to fix that (and it sounds like they're doing a decent job at that too).
I doubt blizzard will not change anything after so many people complaining but I was thinking if it's possible to do a good AOE spells with GCD spells, if they come back to the old shaman and they don't change fire nova I will probably stop playing shaman anyway.
It's amazing. On almost every other resource/forum/method of discussion shaman broadly view this preview as poor. Anyone brings it up negatively on MMO and there's instant backlash mixed with an unusually high concentration of people who like it.
I'm the exact opposite. I'm hating it.
It was the only melee in the game left without a power bar. That's part of the reason I play it. I hated it when hunters got theirs. I've hated playing warrior, rogue, Kitty/Bear and monk because of it.
I was perfectly happy playing a CD/Proc driven spec. I know mana wasn't really doing anything besides limiting how much heals you could throw out, but still... I love Enhancement as none-powerbar melee class.
The "new resource" isn't even new. For Elemental, its more or less focus, turning Elemental into a immobile hunter. For Enhancement, its fury, turning Enhancement into a fury warrior. A true pity - Enhancement was the last unique spec that utilized cooldowns and GCDs as their resource. There goes, forever, a playstyle.
I cant wait to play Enhancement (hated the WoD enhance) and also the tweaked Resto with new totems
Shamans finally getting love
should have stopped thereI don't even play a shaman
