I need help analysing a log from mythic Krosus. We finaly managed to kill him, but I was not very satisfied with my performance.
Maybe someone could help me out?:
What I have found out myself:
- very low on poison bomb
- wrong legendary (hi@ Sephuz, Valeera, Ravenhold, Cindiaria, Dreadlord, Burning Wish)
- maybe even more pooling for higher SOT uptime?

Is DoS really worth using especially without Mantle?

It is worth. On ST fights and on using it on CD with SoT up.

On fights like Skorp and Spellblade you want it to be replaced with something other tho.

Do you have a good way to track surge of toxins usage via logs or did you do it manually? It's a pain to log review and compare manually. I keep a little WA and am pretty good about clipping it right but I'm wondering if there's a way to see if others are doing better without putting in tons of work.

Depends, Il have the shoulders and Cinidaria, giving alot more dmg from that as I can use the gudlan trinket aswell.

the guy dont have the shoulders, bracers and boots, so trinket and ring are the best for krosus....

and for tracking surge of toxins simply go to debuff, watch the enemies ones with you as source
you can even watch dots and poison uptime and the number of bota

I just use NeedtoKnow addon to track it all, its relatively compact, but lets me keep track of bleeds, kingsbane, envenom buff, SoT, etc. (buffs, debuffs, cds). Tellmewhen is pretty good as well.

4 CP is good.

Also - never over CP, it's a DPS loss.

Yes, but there's a one exception from this: Nightstalker.

Yea it does feel behind other classes. I love my CC and how annoying I am, but at the end of the day I feel roflstomped or outlived by most other classes. On the other hand, I have barely 4 days /played on my rogue so I suck anyway.

Thank you for taking a look! For SOT, I try to do the following: I try to have it up for every envenom, but not for rupture. I never clip SOT for more then maybe half a second. For subtential higher uptime, I would have to finish with 3 CP sometimes.

In comparsion with the 99% logs, I am missing 6-7% Poison Bomb dmg and lets say 5% for BIS legendarys. Plus, I have to soak and damage the adds (not even the ones directly at Krosus, we are a bit melee heavy) which seems not to be the case for the 3 rogues which I have checked. That is also the reason why my dots ran out 2 times.

Never compare your own damage with 99+logs, they mostly have PB/crit/NBF luck.
If your in the 75+ range ur doing the most stuff right.
Also .. SoT clipping makes such a small difference. On my old mythic krosus/trilliax 95+ ranking logs i didnt even tryed to clip because i didnt knew. Its just hyped to much on these forums.
Keep in mind rupture also grants SoT, sometimes you can pool energy before you are going to rupture and then start to clip the envenoms.

Anyone know the sure fire artifact trait route for the new traits in 7.2? I'm guessing filling out to the new golddragon is a no brainer, but after that where are we looking to go? Envenom is my #1 damaging ability running 4pc/shoulers/boots and subterfuge, so throwing the point in that looks to be the first best 4/4 trait, unless I'm grossly missing something.

Edit: Didn't see the extra point we could put in Master Assassin, that should surely be #1 after the new traits since we'll have Kingsbane up much more due to the new gold dragon trait.
