I doubt it. Nothing good about being overweight (unless you're getting ready for a famine).
    It's really disgusting.

There must be a way we can trade metabolisms. I have the opposite problem.

"slightly overweight" I said. They actually live longer, studies show.

Instead of trading, I was thinking we'd split it so it's a win-win situation

Yeah I'm the same way. The body wants to do what it wants and your mind has to overcome that.
Suppliments and cal dense foods are what helped me but everyone is different. For example I can't process healthy fats as much as other people but I can process sugars better than them. I'd recommend seeing a dietition/nutritionist (not very expensive plus an evaluation is usually free) to get a better Idea of what works for you.

I've been taking a weight gainer and munching on a combination of raisins and pumpkin seeds (only 100grams of pumpkin seeds = 500 cals) throughout my day. In addition to regular meals, when I'm done a meal (breakfast/lunch/dinner) I'll bring the left overs with me and eat them when I can.

I don't have the qualifications to make informed suggestions to you so I can only relay what I've learned from the professionals but that could be a good place to start.
This link can help you figure out how much calories your body burns in a day just idling, so anything above that will result in a gain. 2000 could be what your maintenance level is which would explain why you haven't put on weight.
Mine is 2900 for example which has been reasonable for me to maintain my weight of 180lbs.
When I started I was at 145lbs and was only eating around 1500 cals of food because I was always so full.

Most people never even experienced real hunger.

What most people call hunger is actually just the body reacting to an eating habit.

The same way the body begs you to stop jogging after 5 minutes, even though if you relax and push on you can go on for over 30 minutes and feel LESS tired after 30 minutes of jogging than you did by the 5 minute mark.

If you believe everything your body tells you, you're screwed.

Yeah...Shows 2200 for me. Anything over 1500 however, will pretty much start gaining weight for me, so, it doesn't seem too accurate.

New studies show that trolls are more likely to post shaming threads.

Posting results of a serious study is not fat shaming.

If you have an apple-shaped body, chances are you already overeat or binge eat.

So, the artical is basically determining something to be true because what else could it be? Might as well read, "People with black lungs at greater risk of chain-smoking." No shit.

Every person born of man and woman
    Share the same disordered perceptions
    of sexuality and body image
    Shaped by anecdotal barometers

The context, though, is in the intent of the criticism, that ranges from fraternal to malicious.

I didn't mean the study. But such threads turn into fat shaming everytime.

Yes it is. I would always choose being a little hungry over being overweight. Portion control is part of being healthy.
