Not how probability works. Very much doubt they've made it a world boss drop rate. I have seen 4 people on my server with it so far.

Its personal loot so each person has their own chance at the mount so if hes run 61 dungeons with an average of 4 bosses then yes hes seen 1200ish chances for it to drop and only saw it once. or am I missing something? not saying its 1/1200 drop chance but its still seemingly rare.

I've only ran 5 so far, but after getting Grim Batol twice I kinda lost heart.

It can only drop from the final boss of each dungeon.

Do you have a source on that?

Na that's not accurate. WoWhead has people listing what bosses they got it from.

The moun drops from any boss in timewalking, doesnt matter if is bc, wotlk or cata. all bosses has a chance for it to drop.

I notice the same happening on the last boss Throne of the Tides. rarity didnt count it coming from the chest.

ran 7 dungeons with various toons to increase gather quickly the points for the mount/toy vendors. no mount drop for anyone in the dungeon was seen.

Rarity just ticked 91/100 for me, though I had to manually add an estimate as I did about 20 dungeons at a friends house so I didn't get the counter.
It's also 1am so I decided to stop for today haha.
I have not seen one person loot the mount in all my dungeons. Probably at about 30ish dungeons done now.

I really hope this doesn't turn out like my Riding Turtle farm where I ended up being 500/200 on Rarity before I managed to fish it up q____q

RNG is the bane of my existence.

I guess the good part is that one of my characters is almost at 5k badges. Managed to grind 2500 in the past 30 hours.

You can correct the counter per hand in the options if you want an accurate counter.

Got mine after around 130 boss kills.
The problem with rarity is that it's known for long time that it is unable to count drops from both containers AND npcs for an item, which wasn't a huge problem before, but with this mount and some newer items it gets more and more annyoing. I guess there must be a workaround for that, but the author doesn't really seem to bother with it. :/ So even if you correct it once, you must enter +1 every time you loot End Time Murozond cache or Throne of the Tides Neptulon Cache. :/
