Is there a click-through range check like dbm's? Dbm's appears to not be click-through.

If you're looking for range to target, try IceHUD. It has a module for range. There are probably a handful of addons that do this as well. Keep in mind the game's API does not provide accurate range to anything not in your group, so any range finders will give approximate values.
