Mmo-c channel

I was wondering how interested people would be in a mmo-c hots channel to join others for games.
To join type /join mmo-c if the channel doesnt exist it creates one. If you are in the channel you can type /who and see who is there.
If you dont leave the channel you will automatically join it when you log on. The only problem is you leave the channel when you join games so there might be lots of people online but all in games.

Edit: To stay in the channel during games tick the "Show non-Blizzard channels in-game" in the options menu.

Great idea. Jus make sure we use 1 channel like mmo-c as stated in op. (ppl might create/join one called mmoc). If we agree on one channel and its a mainstay, a mod could just sticky this thread or add the reference to the existing stickys.

I will join as soon as i get the chance to come online (EU here).
I'm always looking for nice players to team up with. Currently in the 15-20 Hleague-range, we can maybe push it some more

Does no one ever log on? Everytime I logon, I check the channel and it's always empty. Or are you all EU?

I am on EU side. Channel is mmo-c . I dont log in very frequently, but when I did, I've only seen 1 guy there ErikTheSwift (iirc). I log in around 6-7PM CET; sometimes a little bit later. I can't log in earlier; my time zone is different as I am based in Asia.

We'll have more players who'll be chatting throughout games with others not involved in the match. It is still doable if you are in a party or are chatting with bnet friends so this option of having custom channels to persist through games is not needed.

To be honest, I think MMO-C still is mainly a WoW site and I'm guessing based on the replies that not many people actually had time to read this thread yet. I bet in a week you'll have more people in those channels. I might pop in, too.

Edit: In response to Gref, I just checked the social options (was looking for other stuff) and came across the chat options. You can enable the chat to remain in game as well. Just check the option "Enable non-Blizzard chat channels to remain in game". Voila. Problem solved.
