New build for gaming and work

I've put something together based on the build of the month and what I found on the site I'm ordering from.

PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant

    CPU: Intel Core i5-6600K 3.5GHz Quad-Core Processor ($239.99 @ Amazon)
CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO 82.9 CFM Sleeve Bearing CPU Cooler ($24.89 @ OutletPC)
Motherboard: Asus Z170 PRO GAMING ATX LGA1151 Motherboard ($154.99 @ Micro Center)
    Memory: Kingston FURY 8GB (1 x 8GB) DDR4-2400 Memory ($49.99 @ Newegg)
Storage: Samsung 850 Pro Series 256GB 2.5" Solid State Drive ($129.89 @ OutletPC)
Storage: Western Digital BLACK SERIES 2TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive ($113.40 @ Amazon)
Video Card: Gigabyte GeForce GTX 970 4GB WINDFORCE Video Card ($339.99 @ Amazon)
Case not listed on pcpartpicker: COOLER MASTER K282
Power Supply: Antec EarthWatts Platinum 650W 80+ Platinum Certified ATX Power Supply ($96.99 @ SuperBiiz)
    Optical Drive: Asus DRW-24B1ST/BLK/B/AS DVD/CD Writer ($17.75 @ OutletPC)
    Monitor: Dell U2412M 60Hz 24.0" Monitor ($242.00 @ B&H)
Mouse: Logitech G502 Wired Optical Mouse ($70.00 @ Amazon) would love to hear some thoughts on this mouse and comparison to Naga
    Total: $1479.88

    Budget is max 1500$
Need it for gaming(WoW, overwatch, other blizz games, CSGO...), for programming(emulators, game dev) and also as a hobby like to play with 3d stuff/video editing(after effects, 3ds max, photoshop, video rendering software...). Note that this computer will be used mostly for gaming so everything else is just a plus.
I'll reuse old logitech g15 keyboard which I love and'll probably continue to use it until it lives, Asus SyncMaster 226bw monitor(dual monitors with the new one), headset and a speaker system.
    Got Win 10.
All the peripherals I'll buy are on the pcpartpicker link.

    Thoughts and suggestions welcome!

    Thanks. -W

I think you can get a little better cpu cooler, also i think samsung pro isn't worth the money for the speed over the evo. Unless you are an nvidia fan then an R9 390 is a better card atm. Are you sold on the case, or you could use something else? Don't really see what is good at it, you can clearly get a better one.

In short what i did below is gave you a better cooler, 16gb of ram, better gpu-case and alternative monitor. The samsung pro-psu i don't think they are worth the money difference, the alternatives are just as good.

Kostattoo is spot on. I'd consider the 850EVO over the Intel SSD but they're both great.

You might also consider x99 since you want to do video editing and 3D stuff as a hobby, final build would cost you more or less ~1570 swapping the 6600K and it's mobo with a 5820K + ASRock extreme4.

Thanks for help guys. I've updated the list. For the case I have no clue what to look for, dont really care how it looks. And I forgot to mention that I'm ordering from a specific shop (family discount) so quite limited with certain parts. I can link the pages to the parts I'm still unsure about, but it's not in english so I understand if you cba to check it out.
