So the women in your country are free to live their lives how they want? Like, they can wear what they want, can go where they want without an escort, don't have crazy laws regarding rape, ect?
Rhetorical questions aside, stop pretending your country is good to women... it really isn't what so ever. You are an asshole if you defend any of these laws.

In the UAE adult women are free to live their lives in the way they like, they can wear what they want as long as there is no nudity, they can go where they want without an escort, as for the laws regarding rape i have no idea about them but i prefer A strict law regarding rape above a culture where is rape is not a big deal.
And im not defending these laws to be an asshole, my country preserved the women identity and their free willas they wish the best for our mothers, sisters and wives.

Then explain why the story about khamisa was viewed by english newspaper as she was a poor lady who was convicted because bread was being brought to her where infact the man who claimed to be her son lied and she was related to prositution and this was the main cause she got caught.

Unlike most of foreign countries , we dont take religion as a luxury, it is our identity and our way of life. Afaik that guy seriously insulting about our religion and was spreading the idea of atheism.

Im not pretending our trying to defend our "strict" laws as viewed by western countries, it is not your fault it is just that the media provides you with the wrong image of arabian countries always being stereotypes where we are viewed as the "extremists","jihadists","mongolians", which are all lies, you have to come and see for yourself .
So that person should be executed for spreading "atheism"? As in, someone who disagrees with your religion should be murdered for it.
How do you define nudity over there? As for rape laws, I mean laws that are so strict that the victim of a rape is too scared to report it because if there isn't enough evidence they can face dire consequences.
A top cleric in Saudi Arabia said allowing women to vote is opening the door to evil. lol
.
"This will be a fight against overwhelming odds from which survival cannot be expected. We will do what damage we can."

What a typical statement from a male cleric of a monotheistic religion. They propagate this BS for hundreds of years, no matter what confession/religion they come from. You could think, a prominent figure like Mary would at least change the viewpoint on women in Christians, but even now this does not help at all.
Men with archaic world views like to view women as property to fuck and to raise children, and as inferior slaves to do their bidding in the house. They may respect their mothers, but that's not for sure, and they don't have the intellectual capability to realise, that every woman is someones mother, wife, daugher, sister etc. Typical disrespect which also happens regarding any property. This is disgusting.
The only reason why many women don't do anything about it is the lack of education. When you don't know what you are missing, you will not get upset. That's the whole point of such oppressive regimes. Undeducated women can be treated just like animals or property. I bet there would be a share of muslim women who would like to live in another way if they would have a choice. But they are not given one. That's slavery.
Look at all these armchair experts about Saudis and life in Saudi Arabia, cracks me up.
But soon after Mr Xi secured a third term, Apple released a new version of the feature in China, limiting its scope. Now Chinese users of iPhones and other Apple devices are restricted to a 10-minute window when receiving files from people who are not listed as a contact. After 10 minutes, users can only receive files from contacts.
Apple did not explain why the update was first introduced in China, but over the years, the tech giant has been criticised for appeasing Beijing.

Sure, let us assess the level of bullshittery in this thread then.
Saudi women not allowed to go out without a male gaurdian - bullshit.
Saudi women not allowed to wear makeup - bullshit. Well, there have been a couple of cases where the religious polcie harassed women for something like that but they are not allowed to do that and these cases gained national attention.
Saudi women have to cover their face - bullshit. This is voluntary, what is true is that women in Saudi Arabia have to wear a long loose dress called abaya, but they don't even have to cover their hair.
Saudi women don't have a right to an education - bullshit. In fact, 60% of university graduates in Saudi Arabia are female.
Dissent against arranged marriage - bullshit.
Saudis don't like the law - bullshit. Most Saudis think the law is great, and is there to "protect the women". The only place where you will find more reform-minded people is Jeddah and the surrounding Hijaz region because Hijazis are not Saudis, they are Hijazis. Wahhabism has never really taken root there.
That's should be all for now at least.

Haha dude, Saudi men are some of the most henpecked men I've ever met. it's mostly the women who "impose" those values on themselves. This is quite extreme, but I've even heard of cases of Saudi bedouin women not showing their faces even to their husbands, who then try to do that while the wife is sleeping.
It's like cavemen [Saudis] discovering fire ["rights"]... they're still cavemen.
Doesn't matter jack shit because the men won't give consent to them leaving the house in the first place.
You're right, Saudi Arabia has made some vast improvements for the lives of their women. It was only two years ago that Saudi Arabian women finally gained as much legal protection as an American dog enjoys, officially earning the legal right to not be beaten. Better late than never, I guess.
