"women have no place in men's football" is not a sexist statement, its a fact. the opposite is also true.
but that being said, im not sure why a referee is such a threat to him as a competitor.

Female referees are ok in second devision games imho (in men's football).
But it can lead to weird situations like this

It's profitable. Some people live to spite others - thus getting up in arms over the slightest inconvenience so they can indulge in seeing their 'haters' punished.
