What kind of WoW videos do you watch?

I recently started a gaming channel and have been working on a Let's Play, but I also want to post WoW-related videos. The problem is I have no idea what to post. I used to stream raids and post kill videos on my personal channel, and also streamed WoD beta, but I'm on a break from raiding at the moment and it'll probably be a while before I get into Legion beta (IF I even get in).

So I guess my question is, what kind of WoW videos are interesting to watch? Can't really do regular gameplay videos with WoW (unless it's beta) because most people who would be interested have already played through the content several times. I wouldn't want to watch someone level a character; I've done it enough times already.

The first thing that comes to mind is PvP, but I don't PvP at all, so it's not an option, unless the idea would be to watch me fail at PvP, lol. There's also "Top 10" videos, but there's already a billion of those. What kind of WoW videos do you guys watch or would like to see?

I dunno man... the internet is full of these kind of channels.... everybody makes pvp videos... so in my opinion your channel is gonna be like any other channel : some random guy who is or not good at pvp streams his bg's and shouts "get rekt", "owned", "OMG dude" if you choose to make pvp videos.... Try something new... a guide to achievements or something involving colecting toys, pets or mounts. PvP is very boring to watch imo.. unless its in tournaments. Try to make something original.. stand up with something new or old but renewed.

I already said PvP is not an option, lol. I was just saying that it's something some people enjoy watching. Also, I'm not a dude :P

I like achievements and collecting things, though, so I guess that could be an idea Maybe also transmog and hunter pets. Though I was mostly wondering if there's any part of non-beta gameplay that people actually like to watch besides PvP. I don't think any of it is particularly fun to watch, but maybe I'm just not thinking about it the right way.

I don't use very many addons but I guess it could be an opportunity to find new ones

High level PvP not an option? I really don't know, then. I've never really been entertained by raiding. PvP offers quite a bit more unique experiences.

But what else is there? Hmm.

Do you enjoy solo'ing challenging content? Like M SoO? I know there's a decent to large audience for that and that field isn't suffering from the YouTuber/Streamer bloat that most other WoW fields are.

But that's really all I could think of.

I see people calling chicks 'dude' all the time. Does it make a difference for your question?

Unless you can make some crazy machinima there ain't much interesting about Live that people would watch. Crendor did some lets play but even those videos aren't popular. The most important is you yourself being the entertaining factor, the content itself doesn't really matter. Look at some of the big streamers and youtubers. It doesn't really matter what they play, they still get tons of views because they make anything they play fun to watch.

    None..

Why would I watch a game, when I can play it?
    Fact (because I say so): TBC > Cata > Legion > ShaLa > MoP > DF > BfA > WoD = WotLK

You can make a video of how to get rare/funny/cosmetic stuff.

I think that's a good idea, especially for items that are tricky to find even if you look at Wowhead.

I thought about that, but I tend to have unpopular opinions and people might hate me XD

There are a lot of channels about this. You won't like what I have to say but it seems to me that the only time that WoW is interesting to watch on a stream is when there's something new to see. Other than that, it's not really that interesting on the PVE side. But put some thought into it and see if you can discover a niche that someone else prominent hasn't filled. Good luck.

Yeah, that's basically why I was asking. Unless it's beta footage, I don't really see what would be interesting to watch on the PvE side. I'll try and figure something out

Machinimas, boss guides, wow lore(nobbel only) and also many things that preach puts out. Can also add beta footage to that list. I dont got a beta key yet (and will prob never get one because RNG) and there are somethings I wanna see, like the new instances and artifact weapon, class halls.

I've watched a few of bellulars videos and its typically the stuff where he discusses certain more interesting topics that are usually about game design.

I find those interesting myself, especially since he's the polar opposite of me in that he's fairly "casual" at the game and yet he can still be quite objective.
..and so he left, with terrible power in shaking hands.
