Dildos. Not that I buy them, but if I did, I'd be pretty ashamed. Since I'm a male and all.

Many heterosexuals enjoy anal play. Don't feel ashamed

When I go shopping, usually around half (or more) of my groceries are some kind of candy. I don't even care.

if you are worried about being judged by people working checkout lanes in a grocery store you have bigger issues.

I wouldn't buy something if I would be ashamed from it. Uneasy and awkward maybe for sex toys or other taboo items...but ashamed, never.

Not sure why the cashier would make you explain it. :P I don't mention I watch anime often because I'm more tired of the assumption I watch it for ecchi and loli rather than being ashamed about it.

I'm one of the rare guy who watch anime and despise ecchi, the anime must have a great story for me to accept the ecchi.

    Nope.

Plenty of people TRY to shame things I enjoy, such as WoW (coz Blizzard is totally sponsoring wars, employing slave labour and draining water supplies, yo!), soda, candy, certain TV-shows (MLP:FIM), the fact that I have pets and so on.

Couldn't care less, people can shame all they want. It just proves that some people never grasped the concept of subjectivity. No matter how bad I might think a product is, there's SOMEONE SOMEWHERE who likes or even loves it. If they let me have mine, they can have theirs.

Can't say I have ever felt the need to excuse my shopping to the people working in checkout either...I am almost ashamed to admit that I barely notice them. o.O. I say "Hi" and then forget about them since I pay using card and the receipt comes automatically.

Buying eloboosting in League/Wow, I really would feel bad about receiving it & wouldn't tell my friends about it.

Which is somewhat weird because I used to boost back in cata

When I was 17 my boyfriend and I bought condoms and lube, he was highly embarrassed whereas I just laughed as did the 60 y/o checkout lady

Gifts and spoils for females who never truly had an interest. I feel ashamed of those.

Well probably the obvious one, condoms, when I was a teenager (way back in the 1980's, I'm an old fart). Once I bought a gay porn mag on a dare from friends (this was back when their was real stigma about anything gay so it was a real edgy dare for a group of straight teenage boys). Can't really think of much in the last decade or so, with online shopping and most large stores having self checkouts, anything embarrassing (and at my age its more like Preparation H) I can purchase and avoid the cashier completely.

    Tabletop RPG rule books.

I always felt intensely embarrassed and awkward communicating with others about these things and even more so going into gaming shops. There was a time before Amazon.com when the way to obtain the latest rule books was to walk into a store. Highly stressful to me.

I miss all of mind deeply. They are something that are WAY too expensive to replace these days. Sure, you can get almost all of the old ones (or new) on pdf for free (illegal most likely) but they were very very pretty some times and nothing typically beats the smell and feel of a good gaming book.
