The second goal was a 28 pass build up, they simply got outplayed.

Yes, 3 goals made by Belgium had nothing to do with their offense.

Ireland needed a block of 9 on the defense since the first half to block of the offense from Belgium and they were lucky Belgium was playing slow in the first half. Once that first goal happened Ireland had to play more offensively hence that block of 9 in the back was no longer as strong as the first half.
If you get a goal against you it rarely to never is just on the goalie, everyone who just watches a bit of football knows this but hey feel free to put it on just that if it makes you feel better

You mention the second goal, I refer to the keeper's absolute shiteness. Watching those goals, it says more about Irelands defense than Belgium's offense.

If you want to put blame anywhere i would put blame on the two defenders that weren't blocking anyone and left Witsel free to do whatever he wanted. I don't see what the keeper could have done different to prevent that.

Well... It shouldnt come as a surprise to people but yeah... IN all honestly, Ireland is pretty poor. They play with heart maybe, it's good to see them get something... but they're poor. Can't put two passes in a row. They really lack players.

Belgium has talent, looks like it shown through in this game. They will be a dangerous 2nd placed team

Iceland and Wales progressing past the group stage may well be the best thing about this tournament.

Iceland progressing would be pretty neat.

Must say that both Iceland and Hungary look very pedestrian though

I said before the start of the tournament that those 2 teams would surprise many people. I thought Iceland wouldn't play such ugly football from what i saw them doing during the qualifier tho.
